24 days out
Well, I am 24 days out and have not lost a pound in 9 days!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure why? THe weight was coming off quickly and now I have stopped. I know people plateau, but I am only 3 weeks post op. I do not think that is the case. I guess I am just confused and not sure what is going on. Does anyone think this is an issue?? I have my 4 week post op next Thurs, so I hope to get answers then. In the meantime... ANy suggestions?

Maybe your body is re-adjusting and moving stuff around, or holding water? I'm not post-op yet but I have had that happen before when loosing weight on diets. I do everything I am supposed to do for weeks and weeks don't loose a pound and then it seems to kick in and work. Ask questions when you go to your post-op appointment. Don't freak out or anything. Take care!

still no weight loss
Okay, I am getting pissed or maybe frustrated. What is going on here??? Haven't lost shit in sometime. I can not wait until my appointment on Thursday. I am getting to the point of thinking "why did I do this? It is not working". I get mad when I look at the progress people have made.. . 7lbs this week, 6lbs the next.. Not me. I lost more pre-op on liquids than I have after my surgery. That makes me so angry!!! And with my frustrations I can not even eat to make me feel better. AHHHHHHHHHHH

Down 44 lbs
Well, things are looking much better on my end. I had my 1 mo. appt. with the surgeon on Thursday. I got ALL of my questions answered!!!! I feel much better! About 2 weeks ago I started throwing up after I ate. Not to be gross, but it was all mucus. Turns out, it is sinus drainage, and when I eat the food lays on that shit and I get sick. It is not due to my surgery!! And it is NOT dumping. Now, I eat a cracker before I eat to soak up that crap and food is going down fine!!! When seasons change, my sinuses are horrible, so it is that time of year. At least I know what the problem was. I was getting scared something was wrong. As far as not losing weight..... The dr. said not to worry about it. The surgery is working! ha I have lost 44 lbs!!!! I am happy... He feels the reason I was not losing those few weeks is because I was having problems getting in my protein. So, I went to GNC. I was looking for Isopure, but the manager showed me something else. It is a vile 3.5 oz. and it is 42 gr. of protein!!!!! I am all about that. It is fruit punch flavor, and it is a little thicker, but not horrible. There is not much to drink, so it is tolerable. I was getting so sick of the milk based products! Needed a change. I can't remember what it is called though! lol
Anyways, the dr. said everything is going well. Getting in my vitamins, water, and going to increase my protein. I am also getting B12 injections, hoping that will help out. I can not stand the pill under the tongue crap!

Agreed -- 44lbs is awesome!!! I am not nearly that far down after surgery. I have stalled out at 25lbs in almost 4 weeks. Keep up the good work!

Bad weekend!
This was the worst weekend since my surgery. Friday night, my husband and I went out with friends. I had fish, and I felt great. We went out again Saturday night.. Got fish again, not good. Made me sick. Sunday, I could not eat or drink anything. I was a mess. Finally, I called the emergency line at the hospital. I was so worried something was internally wrong. The oncall dr. called back and said since I did not have pain or fever it was my sinuses!!!!! I am so sick of them! The drainage was making me sick again! He called me in a ZPack and I got it last night. So, today, I had an Isopure because I did not really want to eat food in fear of getting sick. Well, that did something to me. Oh my I was in the bathroom all day! I was miserable. I feel better now, and I ate an egg. Does anyone else have issues with sinus drainage? I sure hope this antibiotic works!

Sorry! That sounds awful. I've had a few days a little like that myself, though not quite so bad. It always feels like I'm just going to DIE at the time. Then, I come here and read everyone else's problems and slowly mine seem pretty insignificant in comparison. I really, really hope your new meds work and your system settles down.
