Default 6 days post op

Thanks to all of you for your warm thoughts and prayers! It has meant so much to me! I am 6 days out and getting better each day. It is amazing how I could care less about food!!! I can say I am drinking myself through the day. Not eating much food, if any. I went to my cousin's wedding last night and had a little broth, and water. My family could tell I have lost weight, so I felt wonderful! They are all totally supportive! I was not able to dance, but I was out of the house and had good company! I go to the dr. tomorrow for my one week post op. I can not wait to see what I weigh! Never thought I would be saying that! LOL I will keep ya posted. Thanks again for everything TT!!!!

I was on liquids 2 weeks prior to surgery. I lost weight then, but when I went to my 1 wk post op appointment the nnurse said they do not count weight you lose on liquids?!?!? I do not know why! I counted it, but that is why it seems like I lost so much. In my eyes, weight loss is weight gone!!!!!! Good luck with your journey!

I never thought getting in fluids and eating would be so hard! I know I am not getting in all of my "stuff". I have finially started to feel better, and it has been hard getting in liquids when I am so tired! I mean, cant drink and sleep! ha I try my best, but I know some days I come up short. I am thinking that is why my energy is so crappy, because I am not getting in all of my protien. I am not hungry... I try to eat anyways and then I feel like crap! I am hoping it gets easier with time. Monday will be 2 weeks. I am just taking it one day at a time!!

Down 32 pounds!!!
