Vince has his first life style class set up for July 16! I am so excited for him! His 6 months would be up in January. We are going to Disney the day after Christmas, so he wanted it after the new year. I will be attending the classes with him for "support" and to support me along my journey!

Went to my PCP yesterday for my back. It is still a mess and has been for sometime. The Dr. is thinking it is arthritis!!! OMG I am only 30. LOL I was given Ultram and Robaxin. So far, so good. I have to get a MRI and I am going to try physical therapy.

Never a dull moment! LOL

Really strange but I feel a very strong connection to you. I cried a few times reading. I am so proud of you, and insanely jealous of your 6 month 100 lb weightloss! So much of you is what I see in myself and I just hope that I can be as strong as you have and fight this battle. I'm always happy for the person when I read their story, but for some reason yours has touched me strongly. Maybe because we're around the same age, I've been obese since elementary school as well, have found the love of my life as you have, and I'm also driven to help others in my work. I hope I can be as tough as you and a success like you have!! I want to do this positive and up beat like you have, so I'm gonna just chant to myself.. "less whining, more ass kicking" and thank you for the THINspiration!!

Oh yeah, your nose is not too big LOL. Your face is warm and your eyes are very genuine and caring!! You are stunning, both fat and thin, don't ever let anyone tell you any different!!
Thank you for the kind words! Your story is a sad one. You sure have been through a lot! Hopefully you are on the right track now! Hang in there, you have a lot of support here!

Thanks Renee, that means a whole lot to me!! I've been trying as hard as I can for the last couple weeks and have shed 15 lbs! It's really hard with having chronic pain, but I just keep walking until my legs can't take anymore. *grin* You've all given me such inspiration!

Default Big decision....

I have decoded to stop taking my birth control pills! Not, that I want to get pregnant right away, but I am thinking about it sometime soon. To be honest, I have been on the pill for such a long time, I want to see how I am off of it. My cycle was never regular, and I want to see if that has changed.

I have stalled again with weight loss. It seems for the 2 weeks that I have been at Curves, I have not loss any weight. Maybe I am losing inches because my clothes are getting big! I am anxious to see if Curves is helping at all. I like it there, and if I see results I may continue going. But, even without results, I need to keep going!

Got my authorization for my MRI on my back. I need to get that scheduled this week. Once I do that, I will start some physical therapy. I need to know what is going on with it already. It drives me crazy!!!

Sorry to hear about your back, and hope you feel better soon. Are we allowed to take Ultram Renee? I thought it was considered a NSAID? I might be wrong, but check up on it...don't want to see you getting an ulcer along with the back pain.

That's great that your hubby has decided to go ahead with the surgery. Congrats to him!

Hey Sherry, I asked Ultram and there is no Tylenol, NSAIDS, or aspirin in it. The pharmacist assured me of it. I asked! Trust me!

I forgot to tell you about how to contact the dr. for emergency. I just called the office number and it was the answering service because it was after hours. I told my symptoms, and a doctor was paged and called me back.

That's good to know about Ultram. I used to take it for my foot.

Thanks for the emergency info....hopefully I'll never have to use it.

Default Never a dull moment!

Well, yesterday I was in a car accident. I am okay, just a little sore. I was at a stop sign trying to make a left turn. A car came out of no where and I hit it! I looked and looked and I did not see a car.... I saw it when I was in her passenger door! The whole thing was a little strange, but I am not going to post all the details... Anyways, despite all the weirdness... I am at fault! Thanks to wonderful PA law! My Escape is okay except for cracking the plastic cover over the bumper, her caviler is a mess. And the whole thing happened in a wonderful monsoon! Go figure, just my luck.

Oh no! I'm so sorry, hon!! (((HUGS))) I have been in plenty of accidents, some of them my fault, so I really sympathize. Try to relax as much as possible this weekend. Use a heating pad, take some tylenol, make hubby rub your shoulders...

Tough luck Renee!
Thankfully you're OKish and hopefully you have a good insurance.
Indeed, take time to recover and nurse your wounds - you'll be back on track sooner if you allow yourself a decent healing time.
Best wishes forward!
