Yikes! I just read this. How in the world did you end up with pneumonia? I'm not a doctor (and I don't play one on TV), but I think your body is trying to tell you that it needs nutrition in order to heal itself. I'd listen to it, and give it plenty of nutritious foods for the next few days.

Take care of yourself, and get well soon!

Ya know, sometimes the body just needs its fuel. I was stalled for three weeks, got a bit depressed, and ate an extra 300 calories a day for 3 days...and lost like 3 pounds. Sometimes eating more kicks the big, dumb metabolism back into gear, I guess! But I am sorry that it's making you feel guilty. You know that you won't feel like this forever, so try not to let the guilt make you feel even worse. You already have pneumonia, after all!

RELAAAAAAAXXXX! Your body obviously needs some extra food to heal itself. As long as you're eating the healthy stuff just go for it!
Just take it easy and catch up on TV before you land yourself in a hospital bed girl! I do sympathise though - I HATE being bored!!!

Unhappy Second round of antibotics!

Yes, that is right.. The Z-pack did not do anything for me! I am actually feeling worse than I did on Monday when I went to the Dr. So, I called and they phoned in a new antibiotic. If I am not feeling better by Tuesday, I have to be seen again and have another chest x-ray done. I have been so miserable this week, it puts "hell week" to shame!!!!

Oh yuck, more antibiotics! Well, here's hoping this round does the trick. I'm crossing my fingers for you. I can't imagine what you're going through. (((hugs))) Wishing you chicken soup and fuzzy blankets...

Default I left the house!

Yes, I am making a big deal! I have been in my damn house literally all week! I was going crazy. I watched the Pens kick the Flyers ass today! So, after the Pens won, Vince and I went to Dicks to get our shirts and hats. It was the first time I have left the house since last Monday when I found out I had pneumonia. It seems like this round of antibiotics is working better. I am still tired, but my chest is not hurting as bad. I am even going back to work tomorrow. I figured I better since I only have a few weeks left.

My bank account will appreciate me going back to work. I have been on Ebay all damn week buying crap that I do not need! LOL One can only sleep so much! I am really pissed because I had lost on the one Southern Living piece I wanted. Bitch out bid me the last minute! lmao

I guess I am feeling better, I can hear some sarcasm!

Default Chest X-ray was clear!

Yeah I am feeling better! I had a chest x-ray the other day to see what was going on with the pneumonia... It was CLEAR! YAHOO!!!!!!!!! I am so happy! It has been a miserable few weeks.

Vince and I ordered a Wii system and Wii Fit on Ebay yesterday. We were to every store in the Pittsburgh area, and it is sold out! It should be here in a few days. I can not wait! It looks like it is a lot of fun. I will let everyone know how it is!

Vince had a doctors appt. on Thursday. His diabetes is under control, however he has gained 25 pounds since Christmas. The dr. said this is common with regulating sugar. Vince is pissed though, because he is trying so hard to eat healthy, and lose weight. He is so frustrated! I can totally relate. His dr. said bypass surgery would be a good option. He needs to lose about 100 pounds. He is going to try his best during the next 4 months to see if he can do it on his own. He really does not want surgery. I am going to support him no matter what his decision it. I want him to be healthy and happy with himself. I figure it will all work out and what is meant to be will be. This is another reason why we are getting the Wii Fit! We need to get our buns moving!
