Well this is the 4 month mark for me and my surgery. For the most part, things are going well. I still have my days when I eat very little, and my pouch disagrees with me! I have started eating new foods. I am doing well with pasta. I limit myself to how often I eat it. I am loving the banana bread weight smart oatmeal! OMG it is so yummy!!!! It really hits the spot on the cold nights in Pittsburgh. I am hooked on Special K cereal. I am done with the protein shakes. I never really liked them to start with. I havent really kept track of my protein intake. I know how much is in the foods I eat, and I estimate. I am doing much better with fluids. I hope my weight loss continues. When does the weight loss start to slow down?? I am hoping I have a few more months of steady weight loss.

My hair has started coming out about a month ago. Nothing major, but it's coming out. I have think hair, so I am hoping it doesn't show all that much. I take zinc and biotin daily to help! Thanks for the post Katie! You are great!!! Since, my Steelers are out of the playoffs.... I have to say GO PACKERS!!!!

I didn't even see that you asked about Vince! lol He is doing much better. He went back to work last Monday. He gets sore if he over does it, but that is why he has pain meds! No, honestly he is doing well, and the surgeon is pleased! His sugar is down too and is he losing weight! The dr. said he could be off the meds in 6 months! Thanks for asking!
