Yesterday was fine and I headed to bed about 10PM!! after chatting to Lisa and Carrie and slept solid until 5.30am so not a bad nights sleep. Today I think I have to go out shopping for a few bits, nothing major but it will get me out of the house, Andy gets to chauffer me around! I had a little bit of lightheadedness last night but it passed quickly. My stomach is making very strange orchestral sounds and there are definately some "wind" instruments in the mix. Had BM 2 days in a row now, and peeing is fine. The staple line is starting to itch a bit but not too bad.

Wow Samm glad to see you are home. You were a model patient. I think it was that wonderful support you had from Andy. I told my husband how great he was being. (hint hint to him)

It was wonderful to meet you!!!!!!

I have been really dense at getting that picture up. I have never e mailed a picture before in my life so i'm having trouble even getting it to Lisa. We have only ever had dial up until now so emailing a picture took way too long so we never considered it an option. Sad to say but it would probably be quicker for me to mail it through snail mail. I will keep at it today.

Take care girl and get your rest. Sounds like you never slept in the hospital.

So today was kind of weird as I usually have all days planned out and I have no plan, it was like WTF do I do now? Ok Drink some more!

So today I had a SF jello portion for breakfast with propel lemon
about 11am I had a SF jello pudding (yummy) and more water
for lunch Andy went shopping and bought me Gardeneys cream of mushroom soup with real cream so I used the old blender and pureed it to liquid and then added in 6 tablespoons of skimmed milk powder. I divided the whole lot into 5 half cup portions. Had one portion for lunch it was sweet, probably because of the milk powder? I had a SF popsicle, more water and then a cup of decaf tea. Nothing at all has disagreed with "Percy Pouch" yet (Yes I thought I'd give it a name now)

Danica had a BD party to go to about 4 blocks away so I walked her up there and I am going to walk up and collect her at 6pm. That was about it for actual walks today but felt good. It's hot here so I spent a lot of time out on the deck reading and going up and down the deck stairs to the garage to see Andy (he was working on bikes). So all in all I am feeling really good, sneezing is not fun on Percy though!! Not so much of a hell week really in the end!!

I have started to rub in Polysporin CREAM on my scar/staples as I have heard that it really helps when the staples come out!! Well let's see what tomorrow brings.......

Happy Mothers day to everyone for tomorrow!!

OMG...Samm...walked 4 blocks....another gold star! You will find things sweet that you never thought were sweet before....its very strange..but cool too! Sounds like Percy is doing good with liquids and such.

At day 10, I went to Safeway in Med Hat, and almost passed out in the store....so you are doing extremely well. I thought I did well until I read your post...I was better than some others in the hospital.

Your full time job is getting in fluids......day in and day out. Superwoman you are....and I am so happy for ya.

Hey, if you are not busy, you should post the pics...would love to see them!

Cookies ha! That reminds me of Andy on Weds, in the evening he went down to Timmys and got himself a drink, in the meantime I fell asleep B4 he got back and dreamt that he surrounded me in TH cookies! I have definately had some bizarre dreams this week!

Had some cream of wheat this am, about 1/2 cup with some added skim milk powder and a cup of decaf tea, Percy happy so far! Also drove the car today, Andy not happy about that!

Oh and for Mother's Day I got, lots of homemade stuff, cards and some nice digital scales, down 9lbs ( I think!)

Default Congrats Samm

Way to go... now take it easy! Don't overdo, you're making me tired! I'm so pleased for you that everything went well and it sounds like you are recovering great.
