Well not much to report, its the blob week so my weight is staying the same! Been to the gym 4x. Bought a protein bar from the gym, its made by Premier nutrition and is a 72g bar (very chocolately) and has 30g of protein in it! It also has 10g of sugar which is a little higher than I normally do but I have had no problems with it. It tastes good, albeit a little rich as I am not used to chocolate anymore! It contains 290 calories and 7g of fat, but I think to get the 30g of protein in one shot is great!

My friend gave me a pair of pants as my next target, they are black dress pants from Reitmans in size 13, I thought no way but yes I can get into them, do them up but at the moment they are skin tight! So my goal is to have them fitting nicely in the next 5-6 weeks!

I am thinking about buying a mountain bike, yes a 2 wheeler without an engine! I used to race them about 15 years ago back in the UK and enjoyed it, now I am fitter and healthier and live by the Rockies what better way to get out have some fun and get fitter! I think this is going to be my Xmas present as I have no clue at all what I want apart from this as usually if I want something I just go and buy it. I am going for a trek Fuel full suspension model to help with the bumps!

I bumped into my old neighbour yesterday and was chatting away to her and then finally she said "do I know you" I was like yes we were neighbours recently and she was like "oh my god I didn't recognise you" Now that was wierd as I really look the same but thinner! I am also getting the "you look different" from a lot of my patients who I have not seen since B4 surgery, they first ask is it my hair until I tell them, and then they say well I figured you lost weight but didn't want to say!! Well I am off to do battle with the eliptical...........

Well, time for an update. I am feeling quite pissed off at the moment. My weight is not changing, or I go up 2lbs and then take a week to lose that 2Lb, I am quite sad. Could this be the end, is this the weight that I will stay at? I just don't know what else to try, I take in lots of protein, I exercise and drink a fair amount each day. I am noticing that I can eat normal size meals and I need to watch this. I have no problems with any food! I know I was a bit naughty over the Xmas but not at all excessive! I feel fat, I have saggy boobs and my legs are hideous with a huge vein that has appeared and saggy skin on the inner thighs.

I am definately grateful for what has happened so far but was expecting more! (typical woman.........!!)

Any helpful hints from you skinny vets would be appreciated, as would some hugs!

First off I think you look great... I know that doesn't help when you wnat to lose more but you do look good!

The most obvious thing that comes to mind is... are you doing the basics? lean proteins, then veggies then fruit and later cars if any room is left over?

Are you eating fast food?

Last if you can eat what you consider a normal size meal, are you logging everything you put in your mouth?

Have you taken your measurements besides weight? the scale is only one indicator of reduction in size. Maybe you are gaining muscle and that causes a negative effect of loos when you step on the scale... I just throwign out ideas here, I'm sure there are others more schooled in the muscle weight thing.

Keep going at it Samm.... it will work out how it's supposed to.

Samm....its not over....believe me. Just a little stall - just keep doing what you are doing. Remember too if you are working out, that muscle weighs more than fat...take your measurements!
