So I went horse riding today, had a good time and all my worries about getting back on the horse drifted away within 30 seconds! I rode "Alice" which is my friends horse, she is 17.2hh and an Irish draft X Thoroughbred and she is a showjumper. I walked and trotted her around on each rein for a few minutes before braving her canter (she is known to buck occasionally) and she was a perfect girl for me! I am hoping to get out riding now once or twice a week! Felt good to be in the saddle again!
Weight wise I am down 69lbs (just about 5 stone for you fellow Brits) and feeling fabulous! Food is great, I am making healthy choices etc. Went to the mall last night to get some new clothes and had Opa (GreeK) for supper, oh was it wonderful!!! Life's good

p.s Lisa, I tried to call you the other eve! Will try later! S

Ok now I am at 20 weeks out and -70lb, so only 26lbs to go to onederland (hopefully by Xmas!!) Down to about a size 18 for the most part. So here is before and after shot! Just got 5" lopped off my hair yesterday as its feeling crappy from falling out and just dry on the ends.

You look GREAT!!! Wow, what a difference! I'm so happy for you. When you had Greek food, what did you have? I'm 5 1/2 weeks out and when I read this, it sounded so good, but not sure what I can handle yet. Actually, just having a Greek salad right now would be wonderful, but no salads yet.

Anyway, I'm happy for your weightloss and inspired by how happy YOU seem to be about the loss and your level of activity.

Thanks Ladies! As for the greek food, I bought the Opa souvlaki platter and it consisted of chicken, one potato, some rice, caesar salad and a pita bread. I ate all the chicken, potato, most of the rice and some salad. I really have not been eating bread but bit the 4 corners off each piece of pita bread as it had tzaitiki (sp?) dressing on it and then my kids ate the bread. It was really nice to have for a change! I really haven't found a disagreeable food YET!!

Lisa, I like broccoli now, what is wrong with me!!!!!
