Thanks for the advice, I am going to try and up the calories for a couple of days and try and do more water too. I weighed this morning and it moved a bit finally to -35lb.

Samm, you can definately see the changes in your pics!!! Congrats girl.

I agree with the calories. Try to get close to 1000 a day, especially if you are being active in any way.

Remember to get most of your calories from food if you can, keep the water levels up high - especially in this warmer weather....you don't want to be dehydrated.

No worries about your scope....nice for him to have a little look and see that all has healed well. Its very reassuring to know that things are doing well.

Thanks ladies! Well I just got home from Medicine Hat, we decided to make a short break of it and booked into the Best Western for a couple of nights. So my gastroscopy was yesterday, everything looked perfect, apparently and I have to go back for a check up with Dr N in 3 months. I have upped my calories and have lost 2lbs, wierd, but good! 9 more pounds and I am going to start horse riding again, my friend has a horse that is huge 17.2hh and she has asked me to start training it for her when she can't, it will be nice to get back in the saddle again, its been about a year!

Horseback Riding..Oh, I miss it so much. I just love riding.

You are doing great girl....you know that! So wish I was closer. We need that Edmonton gathering of the girls!

Been busy this end, my brother in law and his kids are here for 3 weeks from the UK. OH GOD, tomorrow we are off to Calgary Stampede, not my idea of a fun day out!!! Got my hair done today and it was nice to be told by my hairdresser that I was looking good!! Down 42lbs, gagging for the 50lb mark still! Feeling good, had steak for supper, no problems with that.

Well I am moving a bit on the scale again, down 47lbs now so I am under the 250lb mark WAHOO!

Spent 5 days at Lake in BC, was really active, swimming (even skinny dipping!!), rowing our dinghy and I spent about 15 hours dirtbiking in 30 degrees weather so a good work out for me! I did what I was dreading, I had a crash going over a fallen tree, it appeared that my bike is not as tall as I thought and bang I went down hard, first thing I did was get my stuck leg out from under the bike and the next thing was to check my incision! No damage apart from a few bruises!
Home for one day and then we are off tomorrow for a couple of nights, this time in a hotel as 7 of us in our motorhome was a little stressful at times!

Back to work next weds, that is going to suck! Once my visitors are gone I AM going to join our local gym...............

You take it easy, or we gonna kick you butt. Horseback riding and dirt biking are fine, but take it slow...you DON'T want a hernia!
