So I have decided to just weigh on mondays instead of beating myself up. So as of today I am down 25lbs, pretty happy about that but honestly thought it would have been quicker (5 weeks out today) I guess I plateaued for 1.5 weeks. Today I put on some capri pants that were a size less and they fitted just fine, so that was nice!
Yesterday I spent the day at a harescramble (dirtbike race), I rode Andy's bike briefly and it felt fine. Spent the day helping out with check in and then lap scoring which went well until some guy came into the check sideways and crashed into me, I turned quickly so he hit my butt. I told him it was a large target but please miss it next time, few bruises but not hit in the tummy so I am fine! I was given 2 volunteer T shirts and I asked for XL instead of the usual 2X, tried on the XL, yep it fits where it touches right now but hopefully soon I can wear them!
I am using FITDAY each day now, I am getting all my proteins in from food at the moment so no supplementing. I love how you can enter exercise, the sex option made me laugh, 3 options,
1: lay back think of England.
2: a little bit of effort to move around
3: vigourous sex - I'll have to work back up to that!
Yesterday I had about 1/2 cup of mash potato with a pork cutlet, WOW was surprised on FITDAY how that swung the carb portion to way over what I expected!
I am walking my kids to and from school each day so getting in plenty of walking, no naps at all, I'd rather be up and about!
SO all in all I am doing good, feel completely normal, and even forget I had surgery until I look down and see the scar!

Well I have been doing lots of walking, did 10 flights of stairs without stopping, legs were a bit jelloey but that was about it. Even got on my rollerskates today, I was way better at skating 15 years ago!!
I believe I had my first instance today of pissy pouch, I had some steak and cottage cheese yesterday and it went down perfectly, today however I decided to have the same meal and BOOM, not going to work today, got a bit of a heavy feeling and it took about 10 mins for it to go, first time I have experienced that so it was weird! So my jack russell got the steak!! Ah well, supper will be a Smart Ones meal from Weight watchers, the turkey one goes down well.
We have our first dirtbike race for our series this coming weekend, it is going to be so hard for me not being able to race, I feel great but just know my stamina is not going to last an hour of flat out riding and I don't want to risk a hernia by falling and having to lift my 225lb bike up. It will be nice to get our camping again, I have spent about 10 hrs in the past week spring cleaning it, first dirt road we go down it will be all mucky again but it made me feel better!
We have a severe thunderstorm warning for our area tonight, and I can hear the first rumbles, oh JOY!!!!

Hey Samm...thunderstorms coming you way...we had them on and off all day long today and then hail, rain, thunder, lightning then sun....repeat.
As I have said all along, you are doing so great and glad to hear of your exercise. I agree, lifting your heavy bike is not a good thing right now.
Pissy pouch...I know the feeling. I could never figure out why one food worked one day and not the next. Oh well. Hey, did you have the broccoli yet?

You're doing great. I have no experience to speak of but no lifting that bike just yet. You have plenty of time ahead for that.
Keep up the good work.

Well I thought I should do a quick update!
As of today I am down 33/34lbs and I have definately lost some inches, I measured last night and I have lost 4" around the boobs and all my bras are hanging off me to the point that one boob fell out the bottom!!! So I had a few smaller ones handy and they are great for now! My knickers are roomier too, not quite ready to ditch them yet. Clothes wise I am down 1-2 sizes and have had to abandon my favourite 3X trousers (of which I had an assortment of colours) My super comfy capri pants look silly now as they are too baggy so I am just wearing them camping for now!
Energy wise I am doing well, I am thinking about joining my local gym but I am back to work on Tuesday so I want to see if I get tired at all or will be fine going to the gym after work. Other than that I fell really good, having no problems at all with any food, yes I even have been eating brocolli!! I am finding that the Smartone (WW meals) with the roasted turkey is becoming a supper staple with some veg.
Off again tomorrow camping for a race, 4 nights this time. I have loaded up the RV fridge/freezer with lots of ham, chicken, steak, cottage cheese, beans & veggie burgers, I'll just skip the bun! I hate not racing myself but next year I can come back fitter and quicker!!

Well I am back from camping, I got lots of riding in but no racing (although I totally feel up for it!) Andy & the girls did well in their races.
So I get on the scales today and no movement, feeling pretty pissed off right now as I feel I should be loosing weight, I was active all w/e etc. ( I am 8 weeks out as of yesterday and have lost only 34lbs)
Food wise I am probably comsuming about 500 calories a day with 50-70g of protein. Why am I not loosing??? Any suggestions?
I started back at work today, worked 9.5 hours right through with no break, I am not tired at all just unhappy due to no weight loss, could this be yet another platueau??? One of my friends who has not seen me since B4 surgery stopped by my office and she said I definately look thinner which was one nice thing to happen!
On Friday I have to go back to see Dr Nohr for the 8 week scope, maybe he will have some suggestions.
editing now adding some photos! day before again and 8 weeks out.

Sam, I'm definitely seeing big changes. To me you seem to be right on track, and at this point, short stalls are very common...You'll start losing again very soon...it's just a little time for your body to adjust...you might want to try a day or 2 of more calories, to shock your body into losing mode again.
