Hey all -

Thought I'd share a wow moment with you if y'all don;t mind.

So hubby and I decided to attack part of our office (which I call the dumping ground because everything in the house will eventually end up in there) and start boxing it up and cleaning it out. We keep all of our jackets and formals and such in the closet in the office, so the clothes in there are so often neglected. He pulled out my cheerleading outfit from high school (minus the skirt - it got lost in another move years ago), and the sweater and other short wool top and letter jacket - they all fit!!! I so wish I had my skirt to try. I am 133 right now, but recall being/feeling like a fat heffer in high school at 125-130...geez was I ever stupid!! Anywho - out with my old ski parka and 3 pairs of ski pants. DH and I were cracking up because I tried on all the ski pants even though he gave me the "those will never fit" look - they were all enormous and basically fell down as soon as I let go...sad that I looked at then and thought that they would fit - oh well - my old mind is still playing catch up

But maybe you should have saved the ski pants, etc. By the time you layer a couple pairs of longjohns, thermals, etc, they would probably just fit over all that. Then you would fall over in the snow and be like one of those little kids in a too-bulky snow suit that can't get up...
I don't care what the droundhog said- Spring can't possibly be around the corner!
