Quick update- I have an appointment for another sleep study next week. My pulmonologist wants me to have it so we know how much to lower the pressure on my CPAP. My husband says my snoring is greatly reduced (if I happen to fall asleep in front on the tv), but I'm not ready to give up the machine all together. I've tried going to bed without it- no way!

Yes, I will post a new avatar and some wedding pics soon! (Soon as I can figure out how!)

It's been a dog's age since I visited this thread, so I thought it was time to jump in with a quick update.
=============
The wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. I felt like a queen, the choir sang beautifully, and it was the hottest Oct. 6th in recorded RI history! 91 F! Thank God for AC at the church and at the reception hall! The reception was the fastest 4 hours in my life, it just flew by. Many of the guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. That's all I wanted, was for people to relax and enjoy. We finally threw a really successful party!
================
Came home from the honeymoon just in time to get 2 visits in with Dad at the hospital. He died of lung cancer on 10/22/07. As everyone and myself has said, at least he got to walk me down the aisle!
=====================
Now I'm down 101 lbs. I feel great, physically, but I've been feeling fat and depressed too. I think it may be time to get a referral to a shrink. A LOT of stuff went down in 2007, and I think I need to sort it out. I did counseling with a psychologist years ago, and it helped a lot. I'll get a recommendation from my PCP next week, we'll see what gives.
==============================
I am TT Gym Rat #11! I need to remember that. When my gym closed unexpectedly at the end of November, it was too easy an excuse to get out of that routine. I been sporadically picking up weights, walking, but I need more, I know I do!
====================================
On a lighter note, I am soooo enjoying shopping for new clothes for this new bod! It is so much nicer being a girl now, and I am getting a lot of compliments. Downside: I went from a 48B to a 44A. The girlsa are definitely shrinking. On the other hand, there's less for gravity to grab hold of!

....... just catching up on everyone and noticed when I read through some of your posts on this thread that you have not updated your weight since January - may I ask are you homing in on Onederland also? or should I let sleeping dogs lie?

Default Confession time...

I have been farting around with the same 3 or 4 lbs for weeks and weeks, months, even! I'm a failure! I'm afraid John will take my Gym Rat number away from me.
============
I know what the problem is- no regular exercise. When my gym closed, well, it was a grand excuse to stop getting up at 5:30. That, and liquor has a lot of useless calories. I've cut way back on that, but still need to get my butt moving! That, my friends, is why I haven't updated my weight. I''m going to do the 5 Day Pouch test next week, going to see if that will jumpstart me. Also, my workplace is starting a walking program with prizes next week, and I'm signing up for that.
============
*hanging head in shame and shuffling off to some dark corner to beat myself up a little more*

No need to hide in shame. You just typed the reasons and you know what you have to do! Hope to see you soon.
(You know how I feel about the alcohol. Me, I lost weight while drinking. I didn't eat.)
