Default Good News

MIL had her surgery , everything went fine. She came home on Xmas day , she has a bit of pain from her wound ( open ) but that is to be expected . A week out she is already seeing a possitive shift in her levels , her hemeoglobin ( spelling sheesh) had always been very low even on the TPN ect but is now within a "normal" range. It looks like she is on the mend ,thankyou everyone for your thoughts and prayers I am becoming a firm believer in the power of prayer.
We are all very relieved after this , I hope the MIL can now start to enjoy the life she has worked so hard to reclaim, she deserves to.
We spent Xmas interstate with my family this year , it was interesting to see peoples reactions who had not seen me for twelve months. I had mentioned to my mother that I didnt want people making a big deal of my WL ( I think I was about one month out when I told her this and deep into self pity) and no one did , but their eyes told a different story lol. So it was a good time for the family rounding out what has been an up and down year on a very good note.

Jackson, I am so happy to hear that things are going well for your MIL and for your family. I know it's been a lot of stress/worry on you and your wife. I can't even imagine. Hope this New Year brings your family health and happiness.
