slumber party ideas
depending on how girly they are, and depending on your rules, here are some suggestions
1. makeovers - they can give eachother one, you can get kid makeup at walmmart
2. painting eachothers nails
3. treasure hunt - we do this and put individual goody bags into one big bag at the end of the hunt
4. crafts - make puppets out of socks or paper bags, you can get buttons and all kinds of supplies and ideas at a craft store, we have a Michael's craft store, it is great, they have books on ideas too
5. twister
6. musical chairs - still fun at our age
7. spelling bee or math facts games
8. story telling games, this is fun to do when they are snuggled into their sleeping bags
9. my girls like truth or dare - but of course they do this game without parents around
and my favorite, the first to fall asleep gets a prize, that can be used when things are getting too loud, have fun and good luck

Cindy, I believe there is a beauty school in Temecula, call there and have a beauty day, they all get their hair done and nails even pedicures if they want, and at a very good price, they might even have a package deal.

I live in Rancho Penasquitos but I work in Carlsbad. I'm leaving for NY tomorrow morning but I can meet you in Vista, no problem. I get back on the 9th. I can always drop them off at your work (I work a swing shift).

Yikes! Hope all goes well with your surgery. I will PM when I get back from my trip and work out a time when I can drop off the clothes.

Great ideas!! I am just a little worried about the drama...one of the girls is a total troublemaker, but if my daughter didn't invite her she would have made my daughters life a living hell at school. So, needless to say I am going to need to be VERY present the entire night. I might have my 13 year old niece come over to help me.

I love the idea, but I don't want the responsibility of driving them in my SUV!
