Default question for the ladies

I had my period day before surgery (sept. 10) and havent had it yet since, only 6 days late, but still, its late....and no there is no way i can be prego, my tubes were done 9 years ago....i have no signs of having it, i can always tell 7-10 days before i get it, as i always get tender boobs and back and lots and lots of side pain....so can this be normal? to have my cycle messed up after surgery?

Yes your cycle can be screwed up after surgery, although mine went the other way. Had it the day after surgery, then fine for 5 months and now I get every 3 weeks or so.

Hey 30 lbs for you girl! Yippeeee. You must be starting to feel a little better now?

wow, Lisa, I cant believe the weight you lost, almost at onederland, that is so great, congrats, you are doing amazing

i have my 8 week scope in brooks with nohr on november 1st, i am taking my mom with me so she can drive me home, dont think i will drive myslef home this time

feeling better, but i have not really noticed the weight change other than in my pants that fall off when i walk, so i am only wearing elastic waisted pants, and all my coats are soooo baggy and a couple of shirts that if i were to bend over, my boobs would fall out, but when i look in the mirror i only notice the difference in my face, oh and i cant wear my wedding rings, they going flying off my fingers if i talk with my hands...and my shoes, they are big? what that is weird, i hoped to lose more in the waist and not in my fingers and feet, strange...but neat and exciting all the same.

Carrie, I wish we could choose where the weight comes off, but it doesn't work that way. Most people notice my weight loss in my neck and face, but unless I look back to 8 months ago, I don't see it that much. I had to take my wedding rings off at 5 months and just had them resized a whole size down and I know I will have to do it again in a few months. All my other rings either sit in the jewlery box or fit on another finger. Shoes I went from an 11D to a 11B.

Hang on for the ride Carrie, its a great one!

That's hillarious Carrie - I was just commenting on the same thing today - my feet seem to have shrunk - bizarre!

I've got the same feeling - I can see it in my face but nowhere else (except for work skirts are getting looser).

You are doing so brilliant - I really follow your progress all the time because our dates were so similar.

Keep up the good work!

mmmm.... i went to Save on foods store this afternoon and found a protein shake in a can called Pure Pro by weider - 35grams of protein, 1 gram of fat, 5 gm of cholestrol and only 2 grams of sugar, no aspartame, no sugar alcohol, and only 170calories - and i just took a sip, it tastes good, oh and no whey....yay...325ml serving... $3.59 per can, but that was at the store that is pricey no matter what you buy, so i will look around for it, but i finally found a protein drink that i can get at a store and that didnt taste like crap or make me gag.....oh and this one is chocolate, they have vanilla and strawberry there too, but i never buy chocolate so i thought i would try it

EATING is definitely a challenge but using fitday is my only way to do it, i plan ahead to what i am going to have, check the calories/protien and tweak it if i need to, add foods, remove foods, then try to eat what i entered that way i dont just eat then figure it out later, i like to plan it then i dont worry about it at the end of day

Still trial and error though, some foods dont like me and come right back up, will never try sugar again after the reaction to ensure, so i dont crave it, dont want it and so thankful for that...have no problems being around the sweet foods and not being able to eat it, thought it would bother me, but it doesnt....so glad.

i am starting to get much more energry and feeling alot better - until a few minutes ago, when i took a huge fall in my driveway, boy did i get banged up, my hip, leg, knee, arm and elbow and both hands, starting to swell so going to put ice on it now
