She saw Nohr today. She actually called me on the way out of the office.. because she knew I was sitting here holding my breath.. I even got the scoop before Michael (hubby) .. She said he was AWESOME.. and I swear it came out of her mouth in capital letters. Said he was very concerned about her...

He is going to take out her gallbladder, and check everything in her body, on August 13th... Going to use her old incision line. Told her that he doesnt think its gallbladder, but if she gives permission, he will take it while she is under, and she definately gave him permission.

He said it could be a small kink not picked up on any scans.. or it could be even something like inflamed cartiledge on the rib cage from losing weight so fast.. (he had a really long word, that she couldnt remember). It could be many things, so he is going to try a multitude of things.

She will be in the hospital for 4 days (he said 4-5.. she says 4).. BUT.. she knows not to rush it. She is allergic to morphine, and will be going through all this with little to no pain meds.. which scares me the most..

He told her to "drink her food".. and eat whenver she can.. just the opposite of what he told her post-gbs surgery. He even said do just the opposite of what he told her then. He said you can see how dehydrated she is...

I sure hope this fixes my girl.. I'm so very worried about her going through all this.. she is very pleased that he is going to be operating again tho. So.. I'll support her.. and send lots of love her way so she can heal and get back to being the perky, spunky, happy, healthy Carrie I know and love.

wow did you take notes? you said pretty much word for word for what i said, amazing you are! thank you for updating everyone i could not have said it better myself

august 13th is not far away at all, gives me time to get my house, work and kids schedules figured out, get a month of meals in the freezer and have less to worry about when i am recovering

nohr did say it may be a longer recovery time this time due to cutting scar tissue - but i am not worried about it - i will be fine

i can take demoral, but it doesnt do anything for my pain, so i wont bother with that one, i will see what my options are, they will discuss that in my preadmission over the phone the week before my surgery

i am just so relieved that someone is doing something

thank you again to everyone, you all give me strength.

Carrie... I'm excited for you girl... hang in there.

Isn't there anything else besides morphine they can give her? When I had my open they did an epidural for 4 days that was great... very littel break through pain. I'll pray for her to be helped with the pain.
im not keen on the epidural, i can manage quite fine without pain meds, i will see what my options are and go from there - thanks paige, you are always checking in on me and offering a mountain of support, its very much appreciated!

Give her BIG HUGS from me!
