i am home, had my scan, guess what? i had to drink two large cups of the fluid with the iodine - yup i had to drink it - and i made myself do it, i am in agony over it, i dry heaved til the cows came home, but by golly NOTHING was going to keep me from getting the full benefits of this test, so i did it. Then they injected that dye that made me feel warm and wet (yup like i peed my pants, but i didnt). I get my results Friday 920am from Farries...will let you know what i know then. thank you all again

I remember in the hospital they brought me this huge bottle of stuff to drink for a abdominal CT and I looked at it and said "you're kidding right"? I don't drink that much all day.....sigh I did it but it took me like 3 hours...lol

I'm so glad for you that you are home and now you can hopefully drug up until friday and you get the results! Glad you made it safe today....

I wonder if that stuff counts towards our daily fluid intake...hummmmm

Carrie, what a nice surprise to get a call from you tonight!! I'm so sorry we couldn't talk longer but I loved the time we had to talk. You are such a sweet person and I am so relieved that you are feeling a bit better tonight. I had been thinking about you a lot today. So glad that you FINALLY have had this test. I'll be praying that it shows what is wrong and that you will have answers on Firday.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the call!!! It really was so nice to get to know you better. Now I will be able to hear your voice in my head whenever I read any of your posts.

Keep taking care of yourself sweetie. So glad to hear you got firm with Dr Farries office and that you got your appointment relatively quickly.
