Carrie, good to see you posting. I could rant and rave about this, but I think you know how I and others feel about this.

Do what feels right and rest when you can. Take Care.

Okay, this whole gallbladder thing must be contagious! Ugh! My PCP discovered elevated liver enzymes when doing some other blood work on me. My surgeon insisted on an ultrasound which I had last Thursday. I got a call yesterday that I have multiple gallstones. Yuck! Luckily, I'm not in any pain, at least not yet. I am going to the beach next week and then have an appointment with the surgeon when I get back. I really don't want to have to have another surgery already. This really sucks!

Carrie, I hope you're hanging in there! I don't post much, but I'm thinking about ya, kid!

im hanging in there, went to the ER tonight, have alot of kidney type pain, urgency to pee but cant and blood in urine, they tested my creatine and all, that came back normal, glad for that - both blood counts came back outta whack, so infection, doc thought probably urinary tract, on an antibiotic now so hope that will help this latest situation.

they are dense though, i said i was dehyrdated, explained everything i have been going through, yet they gave me no fluids, instead tried to take blood and collapsed one vein, then blew a vein in the other arm, and then said they hope i get answers on my test on the 15th, so off i wait.

Carrie, I have been following your posts, I can't even fathom what you are going through.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers and I really hope you will be able to get answers on Tuesday.

You are right, Carrie...they are dense! I can't believe they didn't give you fluids??? The fact alone, that they were having problems getting a vein should have been one huge waving red flag that you needed hydration. I'm glad they at least gave you an antibiotic. You have all of the classic signs of a urinary infection but what worries me is the blood in your urine may indicate that the infection may be in your kidneys, not just the urinary track. Simply put, you need FLUIDS in order to flush those kidneys.

....all I can say, Carrie...is the 15th can't get here soon enough.

Carrie,

Still praying everyday for a miracle. The finish line is less than a week away, hang in there and know we are rooting for you. The upside is the weekend is right around the corner so you can to the pain meds a gain and get some relief.

I've had that want to but can't pee thing and it's miserable..... I'm keeping you in my thoughts!

What negligence! I'm so sorry and afraid for you, Carrie. If this persists, is there a REAL hospital you can go to and get REAL healthcare? This is malpractice beyond the pale!!
