Glad you clarified that, Jen....but I can't tell you how frustrated we all are for you, Carrie. I just wish I could come over there and kick someone's a**...and no, it's not yours. This has just gone on too long.

at this point i would let all of you come kick some butt, it just seems no matter what i try i get no where, i dont get it and so i sit and wait my turn, i will call farries office again tomorrow to let them know i am STILL waiting, i do know he is at the hospital tomorrow as he is performing a scope on leah, maybe i can tag along with her and "borrow" him for a few minutes? uh leah would that be okay with you? if he can throw temper tantrums maybe he could throw one at the booking desk for my scan.....ahhhhhhhhh there i feel better, just had to let that scream out.

thanks again everyone for your support, not sure what i would do without all of you in my corner at least i feel like i have somewhere to go and freak out, thank you all for listening, and my jenbear, thank you for the texting and phone calls i would go bonkers without you chickie

Scream all you want...feel free to throw your own temper tantrums. They are MORE than justified in my opinion. I would be calling again tomorrow, for sure. Don't let up on them sweetie. If it were the doctor in your position believe me he wouldn't be waiting by patiently and neither should you.

Hi Carrie,

I'm new to the board and wanted to introduce myself...I'm Paige and I live in Sacramento CA.

You had your surgery just a few weeks before I did. I've gone back and read your thread and you have an amazingly great attitude for everything you've been through, I really admire you and find strength in the things you share here.

I genuinely hope they get their act together and get you some answers soon! I vote you follow your friend to her scope and demand that doctor do his job and take care of you as well.

My doctor thinks I'm a pain in the ass but he said he's never had a patient that was a better advocate for their own health. I just never take no or sorry for an answer.

Maybe find the name of a med-mal attorney and throw his/her name around. "I want you to know that I am in contact with Gonna Getchu, Esq. and have told him about my case. Be advised that if I don't get the medical care I need and anything further happens to me, you will be held liable."

It's hardball, but maybe someone will get it. And if they don't, really go see the attorney. This problem MAY ACTUALLY KILL YOU. YOU NEED ATTENTION WHETHER THE DOCTOR SEES THIS OR NOT.

leah, i hope you dont mind me talking for you, leah has had some undiagnosed pain for four months now, farries and her pcp have told her (after some investigation of ultra sound and ct scan) that sometimes these things happen and that it should go away on its own and if not, pretty much just live with it, well after some other symptoms have showed up, he booked her for a colonoscopy, he is doing it himself tomorrow, she waited a week for this test as well....but has been in pain four months now - so i shouldnt complain so much as she is going through it too and has been pushed off alot
