Default Might notify Farries' office, too

If you don't get a call Monday morning, I would definitely call Farries' office and alert them. If he can be that much of a butt, maybe he can perpetrate some of his temper on the testing people and get you moved up. Sounds like he really believes you are in emergency status...

I'm so sorry there are more delays. Hang in there, sweetie.

its crazy busy as always, but i am sipping and managing what i can to stay afloat

i am hangin in there, breathing through the pain, but mostly keeping busy to keep my mind off it

my mom is back from her two week holidays, so glad for that, now if i need someone to watch the kids so i can go in if i need to, that is one worry off my mind

here is the tshirt she brought me back from hawaii, dont mind my hair, its windy here today

i will call first thing monday morning, this is quite silly all this waiting and getting treated rudely sure isnt helping the matter, but i am trying to be patient, at times this pain makes that hard, as for the loonie bin, i was there long ago

Is there any sort of medical review board that these monkeys have to answer to, or is this one of the failings of nationalized medicine? You have a potentially fatal condition going on and it seems like no one is accountable. wtf? There is a lot of evidence on this thread of your attempts to get help.....
sorry did miss your question - thanks jenbear

it is different here, wait times are normal, our system is backed up and overloaded, there are cases of people on waiting lists that die, it shouldnt be acceptable, but there is not much anyone does about it......there are a couple of private clinics throughout canada, but none that i know of for GBS, and i couldnt pay outside our healthcare system anyway, so i wait for the public healthcare system.

as for the evidence on this site, you are so right about that, here is some more;

its unfortunate that farries didnt see past his hissy fit in the ER that day he did my scope and didnt listen to all my symptoms before doing a scope, maybe he could have had other tests done when i sat there from 9pm the night before til 430pm the day he did my scope, instead once he saw as he put it in office, "your pouch looks perfect", he dismissed anything else until i saw him in office when he was surprised that nothing had changed - how could it, if the scope he did came back fine, if he had not pulled attitude maybe he could have seen past his power trip and realized then more needed to be done instead of requesting that i get an ultrasound on the gallbladder(which i had done two weeks prior to seeing him in the ER and that came back normal) if he had read my ER chart all that info was on there, and see him next week. When i saw him in his office 8 days later he had the ultrasound report and said that just because it shows no stones does not mean its okay, there are other things that can be going on with it, but he felt due to the consitency of pain, nausea and problems with eating and drinking, that it could be herniated bowel, and thought he rushed my appt for the cat scan with the lovely fluid that you drink, but yet again i wait.
