She actually had to remind him that he saw her last week. THen he remembered and "looked embarrassed" according to Carrie. she was FLIPPING out when she was in his waiting room... afraid he was going to be an ass... she is Sooooooooooo Relieved... and she did say that she would come on and post if she felt like it...

thank you my jenbear for updating everyone

and thank you everyone for being so supportive

i am in serious pain right now, so wont stay on too long

need to go breathe through this one

leah did tell me that farries is a different person in his office than when in the hospital, boy is she right, he was great today, and i was so nervous about seeing him, thought he might throw another fit, but he didnt, he was attentive and concerned, so relieved right now just to know someone is listening and willing to get to the bottom of this

jen or i will keep you posted, she and i are in constant contact with our cell phone texting, dont know what i would do without you my sister jen

he asked for a rush to be put on the test, said i have to swallow this yucky kind of fluid and all, but that it will show what he is looking for and will either confirm or rule it out, he said i should have been seen my surgeon or him immediately, not to have gone to my doc at all as they dont know the right kinds of tests to run and that none of the tests i have had have been the right ones and that pcps dont always know what they should be looking for, said it has been too long to go on like this and can tell i am not well just by looking at me........yikes i thought i was looking good for what ive been going through, but i look dehydrated, that cant be good

anyway so glad someone is taking notice and he said he will keep nohr informed and will consult with him as we go along

thanks all

Carrie...pisses me off that he was in such a pissy mood at the ER. YES I agree, you did see him a week ago and he didn't do anything for you other than throw things around the room. Uggghhhhh.

SO SO happy that he is rushing the test and FINALLY listening to you. If Nohr had been in town, he would have listened...well I hope he would have.

Thanks for keeping us updated (Carrie and Jen). You mean a lot to us, and we need you well.

well, guess i should have not got my hopes up for the test to be before the weekend, i didnt get a call and when i called to make sure that they had my cell number, the lady was rude and said there are many people in an emergency situation waiting on tests and when a time comes available they will call me and not to call them again, nice eh?

oh well, i know i am not the only one waiting and others are worse off than me, but hey all i did was want to make sure they could get a hold of me as i was at work all day and not sure what farries office gave them for my contact number

so i was probably bumped to the bottom of pile, anyway, so i now sit over the weekend and go back for a top up of fluids again if needed

frustrated i tell ya, not sure what else i can do at this point

Do they have medical malpractice in Canada? I bet anything that if they knew the medicolegal exposure to ignore someone with a probable strangulated hernia and obstructed gall bladder, they wouldn't be putting you off. It sounds like Dr. Farries and his bunch don't care about their patients' health too much. Is there any sort of medical review board that these monkeys have to answer to, or is this one of the failings of nationalized medicine? You have a potentially fatal condition going on and it seems like no one is accountable. wtf? There is a lot of evidence on this thread of your attempts to get help.....
