Did you mention to them about the HIDA scan with CCK??...I PMed you all the info. previously
1. With the HIDA, you are injected with a radioactive substance that is concentrated in the liver and released into the bile ducts. If there is obstruction of the gall bladder duct, it is a positive test. In addition, if the gall bladder fills (no obstruction), they administer CCK and see if that simulates your pain and how well the gall bladder empties. This second part is not a standard part of the test and needs to be ordered specifically.

It's so awful to be in so much pain for such a long time. I'm sorry you're not getting better or better care. You've got to be losing more weight from not being able to eat, and you surely don't need to do any more of that! Maybe go see Jen and "happen" to end up in ER down here....

I so hope this gets the proper attention it needs SOON!
