You beat me She just said they are doing a gastroscopy this afternoon. Farries is meeting her there. She is bored and wants me to visit (*sniffles*.. I SO wish I could)... and they called a code red on the 2nd floor while she was texting me.. she wondered if that meant there was a fire.. ACK.. that was her last message ... !!!! LOL.. WTF?

I spoke to her on her cell this morning. I get off of work at 3:00 today and will be going to see her. I think I will take a few things for her to do while she is waiting as well. I am only 20 minutes from Red Deer. I will let everyone know how she is doing when I get home.

SO Happy that she is admitted and its actually a good thing there are no beds, that way, they can't forget her and she is in emerg. I know she is bored, but this needs to get dealt with.......so glad the scope is happening this afternoon and thanks Leah for going to see her....she proabably needs a smiling face right now.

Lets just hope the scope tells us something about whats going on. I dreamt of her last night.....poor Carrie.........

I'm letting out a sigh of relief that Carrie went in to ER. At least she is where she will be seen. I'll be anxiously waiting to see what happens with her scope. I'm just glad she is finally getting it. I've really been very worried about her.

Leah and Jen, thank you so much for keeping all of us updated. I'm so glad she has both of you there watching over her in person and by the phone.

She is still in the ER. No idea what time the scope is. Just told her sometime this afternoon. She said that if its a stricture, she will be going home after, without ever being in a room by the sounds. Says she isnt as bored long as she can text... and her sense of humor IS in tact...

Edit: Says she wouldnt have survived that long with a tear or a leak. They are checking for a blockage also. and her side note: "But none of these peeps know anything about gbs"

Thanks Leah and Jen for the updates. Carrie thinking about you and worried about you. It will be nice to know what the scope says so you can move on to the healing part. You need to get feeling better.
