Carrie.... am glad to hear that you're going back to the ER. Hopefully Dr Farries might be able to shed A LOT of light as to what's going on. Am very sure you'll be in good hands.
Weird that you have to sneak your cell phone into the hospital up there.... here they're allowed. I think they were allowed to be "on" back in Sept or Oct 2005. *shrug*
I sure do hope that you'll be ok. Will be checking in from time to time for updates.
*many more hugs*

Oh Carrie, I think thats a very good choice to go tonight and even better that Farries is on. He is the only one there that understands RNY. Key thing is that he know about us and that he can search out the issues. Keep pressing on until someone listens. Waiting for Nohr who is on holidays, is not a good thing...you need attention now. Will keep checking back to see if there is any news tonight...maybe from Jen??

I;m so sorry that this is shaping up to a significant condition/situation for you! Totally can relate to the pain and the frustration of having doctors who don't know you from a hole in the ground pronounce judgements that a 7 year old could poke holes in. In the meantime sometimes there just ISN"T!! enough pain meds. You seem to be a lot like I used to be when I was younger and less disabled. You're a whirlwind, your word is your bond, and you're almost always "right"..Right? That's what I've picked up from your posts. I know I've said this 100 times before, YOU are on the threshold of a serious pain that's just waiting to unleash its full fury on your body. Farries, Jones, Smith, Rumplestiltskin--if you have a staph flesh eating infection going on, I'm sure you'll get devoted care by whomever. YOU ARE THAT SICK.
I was sicker than I have ever been in my life, and the last time I saw Dr. Potts he shared with me that at the time, he didn't think I was going to be strong enough to pull through this. He said I'm one of the ones he'll never forget. I will always remembering him doing little things, like saving my life and all... The major point is you are sick. Your body is not performing correctly--something is amiss, and you need fluids and antibiotics, among other things. From where you are now, it's just another block down to being long term effed up. It's the pits--do whatever you can to get cared for. It's always just desserts on stuff like doctors on call, on vacation, etc. I had a bad experience when pregnant with my son. Long story short, he told me the baby in me had died, sending me to have a "live action" ultrasound (they were brand new!) to find out I was just less pregnant than everyone thought. Of course you know who was on call the Sunday I was in labor. He ended up being a really great guy. Plus he was just about to leave the house for a Vikings game and had to miss it to help get Jay here...

CARRIE! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Glad you went to the ER tonight. If you had waited and gone in at 5 a.m. you probably wouldn't have had a scope until the NEXT day. ERs are notoriously SLOW at getting you up to a floor (ward, whatever you call it). Hang in there and SOMEONE KEEP ME POSTED DANG IT! WUB YOU!!!

She was going to leave a text if they admitted her. I didnt get one... so I am not sure what is going on . I will let you know as soon as I do. I cant imagine them sending her home... but at this point nothing would surprise me...

Might not be able to get a message out
That subject line sounds like she's been captured or in jail, but what I'm trying to say is that the machinery or something in my hospital in St. Louis jams all calls in or out, you can't successfully get a call or text msg through unless you happen to be standing right beside a window. She may be trying to message without success.

if that is the case, my adopted nephew or brother in law will be in touch with me today. They were briefed before she went in the other time. Pins and needles I tell ya.

Update
It appears they are admitting her. She is still in the ER at this time because the hospital is full and they are waiting on a bed. She has been "put through a lot of tests" throughout the night and she hasnt seen farries yet. No cells allowed so she smuggled me a message. Will advise as I know more.

Am glad to hear Carrie's being admitted to the hospital. Sucks though that they don't have any beds, and sucks even more that she hasn't seen Dr Farries yet. Am sure she'll be seeing him soon.
Please tell her that she's in my thoughts.
*big hugs*
