Jen, I'm so thankful you are keeping close tabs on Carrie. I really don't like how any of this is sounding and I'm as worried as the rest of you. Please let her know that there are many of us here thinking about her and praying for her. We want her back healthy!!

yah.. close tabs is a good way to put it.. there isnt a half hour that goes by that we dont have SOME contact unless we are sleeping! she is staying on top of things tho..and getting tired of hurting.

as far as being able to eat and not drink.. both cause pain.. (should have clarified).. but liquid causes MORE pain.

that totally freaks me out - how would i have gotten a leak? what did i do? is that why food is easier than fluids? my poor little pouch, but i have been so good at following the rules, my family cannot get over that I, ME, have been able to not drink with meals from day one, i measure my food, dont over eat, dont graze, add snacks for workouts, workout when i am well enough to, oh yeah and there goes that, so much for my fitness challenge at the gym, i havent been there in over two weeks, i plan to go back as soon as i am well enough to, but a leak? that scares me, how would that have happened? Okay 440pm better come quick...okay finished whinning!

thank you jen for posting updates, i am at work and snuck on the computer, jen will keep you poste when i cant, thank god for unlimited text messaging, our cell phones work overtime.

Its a guessing game really. Leaks tend to happen in the first 42 days out of surgery. Its your symptoms that make me wonder - food vs. liquids. Could be a twisted bowel, bowel obstruction or something else. I HOPE that the doctor can give you more and FIX it. I would think if they found something on the CT scan, that needed attention right away, they would have contacted you. If you don't get any result today, I truly believe a scope is needed. I mean they have done bloodwork, CT scan, ultrasound of your gallbladder and nothing...whats left????

Wish I was there to kick some butt for ya!

Its about a 4 hour drive to Nohr isn't it? Will you consider seeing Farries in Red Deer?

Having you doc page Nohr is great...........
