tough times
I've really had a hard time losing the weight. First, I had a bleeder after my laproscopic bypass so I had to have an open also the same day. Then I had chronic ulcers as the bypass did not eliminate acid. After my first endoscopy after surgery, that gastronologist said he never had seen such a large pouch and that it was a third of my stomach size. I have had 7 endoscopies since the first one to date (it's been 2 1/2 yrs). The first year, I couldn't tolerate vegetable or fruit at all. They really irritated the ulcers. I've only lost 67 lbs and can't get down any more. It's a real struggle as I'm hungry all the time and I don't get full. Has anyone else had this problem? The surgeon told me to eat less that 500 calories but I'm so hungry. Got any suggestions? By the way, I can tolerate fruit and salad now but not raw veggies.
thanks
