Default Another Central PA person

I just happened to look at your stats (I replied about reality) and see you are a medical coder (I am a medical transcriptionist) and have 2 dogs 1 cat. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and I took am just beginning this process. I know there is a Pennsylvania section of the boards, and plan to check there.

This is a daunting process, but I am very excited about taking control of my life at last. Breaking food's hold over us is going to be a challenge, but we can do it!

Default Central PA here also

Karen,

Hello, my name is Rob and Dr. Newlin is doing my RNY on June 1oth. I was approved last year, but some things happened and i was unable to go through with the surgery. Now i regret not following through with it last year as i would would much healthier and thinner today. My insurance changed since i was approved last year and my new insurance will not cover my surgery. I am self paying by taking out a home equity loan. Dr. Newlin is excellent and i am very confident in him and that i will have a good outcome. I look forward to chatting with you on here and i will be at the support group meeting in May at the hospital.

starting weight 380 pounds at 6 feet 4 inches

Hi Rob, I have several friends who had their surgery done by Dr. Newlin. He is also recommended by my doctor. Exactly when is the support group meet at the hospital? Is it the first Wednesday of the month?? Maybe I'll see you there.

Hi Lady Greyhound, I have two Jack Russell teriers, Kirby and Tessie. Fraidy is the regular old cat from the Humane Society. I do coding at the local hospital. I've been doing it for 13 years. I have my CCS and hope to someday be working from home.

Good Luck to both of you! It good to meet you!!

I am going to Lancaster General Hospital Health Campus on Harrisburg Pike on May 5 at 7:30, 3rd fl conference room. It's a new group, second meeting, and a great bunch of folks. I can't wait!

Default Central PA

I'm not in Central, Pa. I lived there for about 6 years and got my BS from good old PSU. I travel to State College about a half dozen times a year or more.

I love State College.

I love State College too. Any time I want to shop, I head to State College. I went South Hills Business School that is over there. It's a great place.
