Hi Bridget. I live almost an hour away from Pittsburgh, so I'm not all that familiar with where stuff is either. Can one of you "true Pittsburghers" help out with choosing a place? If I do it, we'll probably end up in the boondocks somewhere, lol.

I just checked Ruby Tuesdays website, and there's not one in Pittsburgh...the closest one is at 3075 Clairton Rd, West Mifflin. (I have NO clue as to where that is...West Mifflin only means one thing to me, and that's Kennywood!) So...I'm not sure if that restaurant would work best or not due to the locale. Opinions please? Anyone from the city want to suggest somewhere?

I can pick a place. Do we want to do in the city? I am not sure where everyone is to chose a central location. Let me know where you all are, and I can figure out a place

How about the Waterfront near Kennywood. There are a ton of resteraunts and it is right off the Parkway which may be easier for some people.

Michele, I'm confused. I thought the Waterfront was right by Sandcastle...not Kennywood. Either way, this would probably be a good location. I rarely go there, so I can't remember the restaurants. Only PF Changs and Dave & Busters are popping up in my mind. What else is there?

*Edit: I just did a Google Map search, and I came up with these restaurants that are by the Waterfront in Homestead. I just did a quick search, so this probably isn't an all-inclusive list.

PF Chang's
Dave & Busters
Mitchell's Fish Market
Uno's
Red Robin
Bravo!
Cucina Italiana
Rock Bottom Brewery
Damon's
TGI Fridays
Steak n' Shake
Eat n' Park
Fuddruckers
Japanese restaurant (not sure of the name)

Like I said, I just googled this quickly, so I'm probably missing a few places. Feel free to add on to this list, if you know some I missed.

You are right. It is right beside Sand Castle. More people are familiar with Kennywood. There is PF changs, Rock Bottom, Dave and Busters, TGIFridays, Damons, Fuddruckers, Red Robin, Uno's, Mitchells Fish Market, Brava, and there is also a Japanese rest. (not sure of the name). There is also a ton of shopping!!!!

What about just meeting at Kennywood and spending the day riding the rides?

Or Dave and Buster's is fine...ya'll know I like it! (Right, Whitney?)

Okay....who's going to pick a restaurant? Which one of these places at the Waterfront has a menu that would accomodate all of our various stages?

Once we decide, maybe we should post this on one of the other sections of the board? This PA section doesn't seem to get a lot of action.

Default Dave and Busters

I wouldn't mind Dave and Busters. I really haven't been able to eat very much, especially not in a restaurant. I don't know if I am up for Kennywood. It's a lot of activity for one day in the sun.
