It is held an Lancaster General, Health Campus Bldg., 3rd Floor usually on the first Thursday of the month from 7:00-8:30.
Support group is open to all, pre-op, post op, and you can attend even though you had your WLS by someone else.

I hope to meet some of you there!

I went tonight and it was ok. This was their first initial meeting. Dr. Brader isnt new to the world of gastric bypass, just doing the procedures at Lancaster General is. They havent had one yet, but they have a gang of folks lining up for sure.

I met some wonderful people and shared this site with everyone there, so I hope to generate some East Coast interest.

I am in the ground breaking venture of support out here! Cool, huh?

They want to do things we alreay have, summer picninc, group event, clothing exchange, recipe exchange (oh that was fun when we did that!) etc., etc.

I will be spreading some stapler spirit out here!

The group is great for preops!!!!!! There is a huge group of people to interract with. The post op support is a disappointment. I have been talking with Samaria, and together we are trying to put our heads together to find a location to hold a support group.

I will keep you PA peeps posted, Im still working on the lunch meeting
