Hey I am way up in the U.P. by myself it looks like. I don't think I will ever find anyone close to me here. I will be traveling through lower MI in Aug. on our way to North Carolina. Maybe we could have a meet up then somewhere centrally located.

Hey Kim:

From what I can see I'm probably the closest to you in Atlatnta, 50 miles south of the bridge and to the East.

Sure wish we were all a little closer!

HI,

I'm in Waterford - near White Lake and W. Bloomfield. Going for my surgery at Beaumont on 10/16 - the day before my birthday. I'm really looking forward to the results....even though I'm not that great with pain. I figure it can't be as bad as the recouperation from my last C-Section which was when I had my twin boys.....am I wrong?

I had my surgery there, and I'm working for a contractor there too. I would totally come visit you!

Hi everyone. It's nice to see some people around me. I meet with Dr. Chengelis, Beaumont RO, for the first time on 10/22. I can't wait. I'm hoping for surgery in Dec. My insurance doesn't require 6 month wait (so they say). My computere seems to be down more than up these days. Hope to talk some more soon. Deb

Hi there,

I'm from Harrison Township Michigan. I recently had my surgery at St John Hostpital in detroit. My surgery was on 10/17/08 and I'm very surprised that I feel this good so fast. Since I started with the pre surgery liquid diet I have lost a total of 32 pounds.

I am in Houghton up in the UP, right next to Kim so I guess I get the honor of closest (the two of us can have a support group

). She has really been a great inspiration to me and helped me to make up my mind once and for all. I am hoping to be in Atlanta in January for the Sno*Drift Rally... I will gladly push it off for surgery though if I have to, although I am hoping to get the deed done before the end of the year.

Hi! I'm from the southwest michigan area, Kalamazoo is the closest larger city :P I had Dr. R Baker through MMPC (he is no longer with them as of November 2008) in Grand Rapids.
