What did they do? Was it the rack? The Wheel, maybe? Thumbscrews? What? Cali – cali – what? I didn’t catch that. I never heard of a torture called cali-something. I wonder what it could be. Cali – cali – calisthenics! Calisthenics? That’s not torture! That’s exercises, you big baby!

it's been a while for me since i had a good stoogie-
but we need to stop and clear our thoughts and this is the best thing
besides opening a bottle of beer and getting drunk.
I am still in the process of getting authorized which has been in limbo since aug 09- doctors office said it went to dictation adnd finally went to the insurance company on 09-17-09 and still not word.
So i called the insurance and all they said it was approved and they sent out a letter but have not recieved a letter yet. so wish me luck and save me a seat on that bench.
sorry got off track
i have not smoked or had any alcohol for over a year now and i was a huge boozer . smoking comes had in hand with drinking but after the operation things will change for sure but a cigar i think should be ok
count me in for a cigar smoke off

I'm one to enjoy a good Cuban now and again!
There was a nice cigar bar downtown San Diego...I didn't see it last time I was down that way....ahhhh, a glass of port and a nice Dos Equis!
My motto, everything in moderation...weigh out the pros and cons, then make a decision and by golly, the heck with what others think!

I don't see anything wrong with having a cigar a few times a year, but having one or two a day like some people do, I think it's a VERY bad idea. But we're all adults here, and everyone can make their own decision.

Trading one health risk for another! Good concept, I'm liking it. But I'm not here to judge anyone. So do what you think is right I guess, you're the Doctor.

I happen to be a tobacconist and manage a cigar store.
I am pre opt, and when I saw this thread nearly jumped out of my seat.
As a noob still reading and learning I am not going to jump in and tell everyone what is what, but I am concerned as premium, non inhaled tobacco is a part of my work.
Not many people will be able to understand that the world of premium cigars is a passion for me. While I do intend to quit before and for some time after the surgery to assure healing, I am not sure I can give up this passion.

Hey Anthem,
Another cigar guy here.
I'm looking for some premium cigars.
Do you have a website for your store or at least a listing or catalog of the cigars you carry?

Since your doc and my doc share an office, and you had your surgery on my birthday, I will refrain from returning the sarcasm
I did not trade one for another, I once had 2, and now I'm down to one

Good Deal, works for me. I guess I have a different outlook since I paid cash for my surgery is all. Cigars are cool I have had a few from time to time but not worth it to me anymore. I had the surgery to get more healthy. I would hate to think I had the surgery to live longer only to later be in the hospital undergoing treatment for mouth cancer or cancer period. Relax man not judging you, it's only my opinion you don't have to value it.
