Default being sick sucks

Thats all I gotta say. I caught some sort of flu virus to go along with my lung infection. Wasn't able to eat properly for a few days and got really weak. Weight went down to a staggering 187lbs and I had trouble lifting my own ass outta the bed during the day.

Pretty shitty all around I must say. I recently got my appetite back so im trying to get well. Subsequently I haven't had a workout in nearly 3 weeks. and it shows.

Kinda never ends I guess. What can ya do? Hopefully by next week I can put back on some weight and feel up to a workout.

Boo, I feel ya. Being sick sucks. I just got over the flu myself. I had a 103 fever for three days and was barely able to get out of bed to pee let alone go to the gym! I hope you feel better soon!

You just need to find more 24 hour drive-thus. Could you have imagined two or three years ago that you'd be trying to gain weight?

John,
Sorry to hear about your illness. It brings me to a question that I have been thinking about. When I got the flu or stomach virus in the past, there was always this wonderful vomiting, churning, etc. I can see why with a 1500 ML stomach, virus, bugs etc. But with a 60 ML pouch, how does a flu virus affect us now. I understand the fever, but vomiting, diahrea(sp)? I have been wanting to ask this question for a while.

Hey Dollface, its ok its just your body clearing out all the junk...you'll be back to the big strong guy that you are!!
Let Nature take its course, drink lots of fluids, eat raw garlic (its a naturla antibiotic), celery for chest congestion (it lossens you up), and oil of oregano works good too :-)

Don't overdo it too fast...let your body heal, take it slow at the gym when you return. Who would have thought that you'd be anxious to go work out...when less than 2 years ago you probably had to MAKE yourself go?! Good luck and feel better...take care!!!

John, I'm sorry to hear you are sick. I am sick also! You need to get a couch potato sack STAT! See photo! lmao!! You'd be so cute in it!!!

My sickness is respitory. I have a fever, coughing up bad stuff, and body aches. My appetite is just fine though. I haven't worked out for awhile now. Not due to sickness...just lazy!!! I keep trying to get re-motivated, but it's not happening!! I hope you are feeling better soon! Take care! xoxo

A little strange I guess. Even more strange is waking up from burger king and still loosing another pound

I had diahrea pretty badly. No throwing up. Infact I haven't thrown up since well before the surgery.

Thanks I'm feeling muuuuch better now. I'm eating regularly again and even though the lung infection still hasn't subsided I have been doing alot better. My weight is still down though. It may take time for that to get back up again. Fast food alone aint doing it.

Yeah no vomit here. Just out the other end YAY! I feel like crap when I don't workout atleast on a semi regular basis. Your body can get used to anything I suppose is the lesson here. I'm feeling much better these days. So this weekend I will prolly try and get a little workout in.

Its not like I have to workout like I used to anyhow. All I do is 30-45minutes of maintance weights and some cardio when I need too. Maintance workouts are alot easier on your body than loosing weight workouts.

p.s. I looooove the sack thingie. Thats freggin awesome. I bet its comfy!
