I read what you wrote on Marella's page about the bullies, and the truth is John seems to be blind to them. I like John and I respect him, but I don't know he just doesn't seem to get it. He has even made one of them a community leader. Go figuar.

Hi back at you, and thank you for your kind words. It would be wonderful if we could have honesty without ridicule. Some people just don't understand, or haven't grown out of their bully days and perpetuate it, perhaps online only -- but I think we've been ridiculed enough. I think THAT ridicule helped encourage our awful eating habits. A little bit of kindness can go a long way to build up our self-esteem, but a little bit of ridicule, for many, can knock down what's been built quite easily. I'm not a violent person, but sometimes, I wish I could push a button and have the bully get a rap in the mouth, at the very least.

I just wanted to say hello. Ijust has the GS on April 13th, and I was just looking for people on this site that have had the same surgery since most people here have had GBS. COngrats on all your weight loss.

I'm trying to link up with people who have had the GS surgery. Most people seem to have had the GBS.
