kayla hi, hows everything goin for ya? good i hope! hope ya had a wonderful 4th/!my family and i spent the holiday at holiday world in santa claus indiana. i'm not sure if you've ever heard of it. it's an amusement park. they did fireworks at closin and they were so beautiful! wt. my husbands work we don't get to do much as a family ever like that so it was so great us all bein together. oh and i had what will probly be me last ever prime rib from outback on saturday!!! it was so delicious and believe me i savored every single bite! lol! anyways kayla when ya get time keep me posted on how everythings goin for ya. i keep checkin in for pics. hope all is well! i go for my lapband surgery next tuesday, july 15th/!!! Hi Tammy, Good to hear from you and congrats on your weight loss. The solid foods are going well for me so far and I have tried a variety of things. So far I have lost 49 lbs. Ok so far I guess. I'm 6 weeks out today. Hopefully you hear from your insurance soon with your approval. Please stay in touch and let me know what's going on.

hi kay! thanks, i'm doin fine. how are you? sorry i haven't gotten back wt. ya sooner. it's just been one of those wks. i was back today to vanderbilt for my final dietitian app. before surgery. got my instructions on 8 day liquid diet, and everything goes off now to insurance for what i pray is approval! it's been such a long wait. i'm sooooo proud, and hope to hear from my insurance within the next two wks. on their decision. so what bout you? i know the last time i heard from ya, you was startin on reg. foods. did that go alright for ya? hey the chili sounded good to me. oh i forgot to mention earlier that i weighed in today also and had lost 10 lbs. yayyyyy me!!! have ya weighed yet? i know you had already lost several pounds like just a few days after surgery. i'm sure now you've lost a bunch more. wow, i'm so excited and look so forward to sharin lots and lots of success stories together. take care and keep me in touch too. ttys~tammy

Hi Tammy, how are things with you? Well as for me I'm doing just fine. I 'm starting on regular foods now (crab, tuna, chili and such) and it's been going well. I haven't weighed myself since my 2 week check up because I don't want to get to obsessed with weighing, but at exactly 1 month I am going to weigh again. Good to hear from you and keep me posted on you as well and let me know how things are with you.

Hi Tammy, your welcome. I enjoy talking with everyone on this forum. I also hope you get your date soon. You have chosen what surgery is right for you. You are not a big weenie. At about 2 weeks before surgery I was having serious doubts and nerves I almost didn't go through with it but I decided it was what was best for me to enjoy life with my 3 young children (2 years , and 18 month old twins). They are a handful and keep me going. Please stay in touch.

WOW!!! i'm still waitin for my surgery date. i'm so hopin to have it no later than the last of may or the first of june. i'm havin the lap band surgery done. i'm just too big a weenie to have the one you've had done. i know a close friend that had lap band done and she's did wonderful but she didn't have as much weight to lose as i do. i look forward to chatin with ya and i'm so excited bout watchin everyones success! this is so encouragin!!! good luck and ttys~tammy!!!
