Hi Van.. sorry I didn't respond to this sooner! I thought I did already and when I doubled checked, it wasn't here!

Yeah, my birthday has always been a bone of contention. My siblings all got two gifts from family members and a party but I was like your son.. one gift with a BD card attached. and it's not like they gave me a slightly 'better' gift or anything.

I've made Geof aware of my sensitivity and he really tries to make sure I feel special.. at least for now.. hopefully that continues, lol.

As for my move, I'm not adjusting well at all.. hopefully now that we found a place to move to I'll start feeling better soon... (this place is too small and I have almost none of my own belongings here)..

I'm not dealing well with the no job, no home, missing my kids thing. People keep saying it's pre-wedding jitters. I hope so.

I was looking over the TT address spread sheet , and noticed that my son shares the same birthday as you.So now I know another child that grew up getting one present every year that when the card was opened it read,"Merry Christmas/Happy Birthday"..lol..My son has never had a really cool B Day party due to school always being out and or everyone has plans around New Years.
