How's life now that school's started??? Any chances of a Ran visit home again? Is he still due back in Dec? THINKING OF YOU!!!

Hi Van.. sorry I didn't respond to this sooner! I thought I did already and when I doubled checked, it wasn't here!

Yeah, my birthday has always been a bone of contention. My siblings all got two gifts from family members and a party but I was like your son.. one gift with a BD card attached. and it's not like they gave me a slightly 'better' gift or anything.

I've made Geof aware of my sensitivity and he really tries to make sure I feel special.. at least for now.. hopefully that continues, lol.

As for my move, I'm not adjusting well at all.. hopefully now that we found a place to move to I'll start feeling better soon... (this place is too small and I have almost none of my own belongings here)..

I'm not dealing well with the no job, no home, missing my kids thing. People keep saying it's pre-wedding jitters. I hope so.

Hi Van! How are you? I know..I have been missing around here, but I will try to get back into the swing of things. It is crazy how many new people are posting and I feel soooo out of the loop. I would love to come to Florida, but all those hurricanes are scary!

I should be packing, but I'm in denial that the house will really be done... Monday they paint, Tuesday is cabinets, Wednesday is vinyl... Thursday is everything else: doors, trim, carpet, cleaning, lighting, toilets, sinks, towel bars, closet bars and shelving, appliances, install two new windows, finish siding, soffits, gutters, install air conditioning, furnace... did I mention we don't have a driveway, electricity or water??? Supposed to get the keys on Friday... uh, right... it just ain't gonna happen! Plenty of time to pack... Plenty!
