Girl you can't start shaking already, you still have a month to go I remember not feeling scared but my body was shaking real bad anyway. In the end it really wasn't anything much. The pain was bad because I am a chronic pain patient, but for most people it's just more uncomfortable for a week or two than tons of pain. There's really nothing to be scared of. =)

I'm so happy for you! You must be so excited and scared at the same time. The fear is normal but really I don't think there's anything to be scared about. Life goes on, just with a bit of determination the first month.

Hi. All my doctors and my surgeon agreed that even with hypothyroid and PCOS I would still lose the weight. I was told that I might not see the high numbers every month but that it would come off steadily. I am 2 month post op on the 16th and I am down to 208. From my pre-op of 246 to 208.. wow thats amazing. I was told that my thyroid meds would need to be adjusted and to have my levels checked every three months instead of once a year. As far as the PCOS goes, since I have cut the refined carbs out of the diet I have felt great. I am no longer taking metformin and I don't have those sugar cravings. Do you have a surgery date yet? Good luck with everything! It has been a crazy good ride and I woudl do it all again if I had to. ~~Christi

I'm good but it's been rough but I think each day I'm getting better adjusted. When is your surgery scheduled for?
