Hi ,I just found this site. I had My bypass almost 9 yrs ago and feel wonderful. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. I was 212 at my highest, being only 5 ft this was quite heavy for me. I have been at my goal weight of 125 now for about 7yrs. I really havent had any problems at all. Dr Callery was the best Dr I could have had. When he did my surgery he had only done about 300 or so and gave me very special attention. I feel fortunate for that. If anyone out there is having trouble getting through the first few months or yrs, Im here to say it only gets better and worth every bit of discomfort. I went from a size 20 to a perfect 4 and am here to stay for the rest of my life. Im here to help anyone who may need advise from an old veteren.
