Wow!! So how much total have you lost. I am still over 200. I hope to get under 200 at least. I have lost 77 pounds so far. I can eat a bit more now as well. I worry about that. I too have been slack about exercise since school started. I also have trouble eating at times too. Good to hear from you.

Hey Girl! You have done awesome!!!!!~ How much have you lost? I have lost 54 lbs. It has slowed down for me. I still cannot eat very much. I can eat veggies and fruit though, no protein there. So, I struggle with protein each day. I feel good and don't really get sick anymore. Good to hear from you!! I am so happy for your weight loss!

Hi, I am doing fine with food but wishing I could have a salad, funny how that is what we are craving!! Who would've thought? I called my nut because from day of surgery 5 weeks ago I have only lost 17 pounds. but she said because I lost 23 before surgery that I was doing well. It still is so discouraging. I don't know if I am eating the right amounts either but I am sending her a food diary from a week of meals to see if I am on track. Thanks for writing, I would love to talk with someone who is at the same time frame as me. Julia

I did measure my food at the beginning. But never ate it all. so, I just take a small amount and eat what I can. Usually I take too much and can't eat it all. My NUT gave me a list of measurements for each food group. I varies. Usually it is 1/2 of what a normal serving size is. So, if cereal says 1 cup, then your serving would be 1/2 cup. That is what most of mine says on my list. Maybe you could ask? Don't worry, some people stall at the beginning. Maybe it will get moving soon. I excercise but not daily. Maybe every other day.

    Hey Girl,
Have you talked to your doc about the food issue? I am on stage 4 (almost all foods). I can't do the protein shakes, but as long as I can eat it is fine. I have lost 44 pounds. I am sorry that you are having such an issue with eating food. That has to really suck. Talk to your doc and I hope that things get better. It was great to hear from you!!

I have the same problem with the protein shakes. I can't even smell them now. My hubby likes them, I was helping him make one, and I had to leave the room because the smell made me sick. I hope that the gurgling stops someday. Yeah I know, our "normal" isn't the same as everyone esles.

I have started on soft/solids. I am having a hard time eating. Does your stomach make gurgling sounds when you eat. Mine does and it feels weird. Yesterday I went out for dinner. I ate some turkey with gravy, cheddar broccoli soup, and sugar free ice cream. I felt sick because I ate so much. That was the most I have eaten at one sitting since surgery. I know that I pushed it too far though. But it was nice to eat out with my family.
How are you doing n your protein? I am having trouble.
Good to hear you are doing well.
