Hey there girl. Yes I had my surgery in Nashville by Dr. Dyer at centennial. I love them .. I am doing really well.. Almost into a size 14 for good.. I can fit some of them .. they are a little tight but they wont be for long... ((HUGS))) liquid diet sucks sweetie the first 3 days are the worst.. but you will be thankful ou did it it makes the surgery much easier for the docs...

Hi, glas you had a good 4th. We did too. I am well I am at 56lbs lost so far and going down. good luck with surgery I know you're excited and having a bunch of different emotions, I know I sure did but hang in there and once again good luck.

Hey Tam!!! Glad to hear from you. Just hang in there, it will happen and probably faster than you expect. Thanks for the compliment, it really makes my day when someone besides myself can tell a difference. What I notice the most is that my eyelids are slimmer.. I have actually lost weight there. Ha Ha...

Hey Tammy...haven't heard from you. Just wanted to know how you are and how thing's are going.

Hi Tammy. I'm doing ok. Still some pain but not as bad the last couple of days. We still don't know what is going on but my surgeon is going to do an EGD on me tomorrow. He is thinking ulcer so we shall see. Sounds like things are moving along for you. Let me know when you hear something.

Hi Tammy, Good to hear from you and congrats on your weight loss. The solid foods are going well for me so far and I have tried a variety of things. So far I have lost 49 lbs. Ok so far I guess. I'm 6 weeks out today. Hopefully you hear from your insurance soon with your approval. Please stay in touch and let me know what's going on.

Hi Tammy, how are things with you? Well as for me I'm doing just fine. I 'm starting on regular foods now (crab, tuna, chili and such) and it's been going well. I haven't weighed myself since my 2 week check up because I don't want to get to obsessed with weighing, but at exactly 1 month I am going to weigh again. Good to hear from you and keep me posted on you as well and let me know how things are with you.

Hi Tammy! Thanks for checking up on me. I'm doing well though still a little bit sore from my last surgery. Everything looks good though and I had the stitches out last Thursday. I had a really busy week at work this past week so I haven't been on much. I work the evening shift so I don't check the forum until after I get home from work at midnight. We had a really bad burn patient this week so I was putting in extra hours.

So how is your pre op diet going? You keeping away from that diet DP and cigarettes? I'm so glad I wasn't a smoker or a diet pop drinker before surgery. My 2 week pre op diet was just about all I could handle!! *L* I give you a lot of credit lady. What you are doing can't be easy for you. Hang in there. It really is all worth it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your first in person support group meeting. A small group really is the nicest. The one my surgeon's office has is quite large which can be really intimidating for some people. My own group, that I lead, ranges from about 6-12 people so its a nice size group.
