So I continue to wait. I had hoped that by now I would be writing that I had gotten a date and was ready to begin my life anew, but I guess the gods prefer to see my fidgit a bit. I had my psychological evaluation on 30 October. I asked the doc when I could expect that he would forward my report to my surgeon and he said 7 to 10 days. I have tried calling a few times but it is like yelling at a rock. Sometimes I feel as though I am being a bit of a pest by calling and trying to get things moving...

Well, my surgeon and I won't know for 7-10 days if the psych evaluation came out well.

It was not bad, all in all. Time consuming, but not bad. I kept expecting them to open another door and there to be a flaming hoop there. There were 4 written test total. So a bit of a setback in trying to get this through my insurance company. The notes I had form my meeting with the surgeon said that I would require the psych exam as part of the pre-op. Earlier this week they tell me that it needs to be done and submitted with the insurance pre-approval package. I called for two days trying to get the appointment scheduled and the best they could do was to get me in on 30 October. I just hate starting to run down a path and having a huge rock coming rolling...

Or should I say another checkpoint? Today is 6 months of WW. I did not go to every meeting due to work, etc but made most of them. I also saw my PCP this morning and he said he would have his nurse get everything together for the surgeon referral today and get it off to them. I was actually up on the scale at the docs office today. Stupid thing. They have a walker around it, kinda hoped to get a flap up on there and cheat a bit but I failed. It was a weird appointment. I was just taking my second shower of the day and really got to thinking (not about that you perverts). It was a very hot day, and as is the case with very hot days, I sweat. I sweat a lot.
