Hi - I am new to the group. I had gastric bypass 11/2004. I was 255 pounds, and I lost 130. In the past few years, I gained back 35 pounds. I underwent the Stomaphyx procedure yesterday 8/18. I'm in some pain in my chest and my stomach. Can I take Advil for the pain and gas-x for the gassy feeling?

Thanks Suzanne. I'm starting to do better. I'm still feeling it a bit but its nothing like the pain the gallbladder was giving me. So how are you doing since your Stomafyx? I'm really curious to see how that works for you. My surgeon does a similar procedure called the ROSE procedure. Basicly it is the same thing he just uses a different instrument to do it. He has only done like 4 of them so far so I'm really curious to hear the results from people.
