That's fantastic! Keep up the good work! I am hoping they will d/c my oxygen today. They were supposed to be out over a week ago to retest my O2, but they slacked a bit on getting something set up so I've had it an extra week.

I know now why they tell us not to weigh every day. I mean, I seemed to lose so much that first week and a half and now it's already slowed some. I just keep telling myself to have patience and keep doing what I'm supposed to be doing and it will all come together in the end. I have four and a half more days before I can stop eating eggs and beans and try to have a little bit of soft meat. You're right, fish never sounded so good! LOL

I am doing GREAT! I have lost soooooooo much weight and have more energy than ever! I am off the oxygen AND my Cpap! Woo hooo only 120 more pounds to go!.
I get to start my soft foods today! Yeah! Tuna never sounded so good and Peanut butter! Keep in touch!

Hi. Surgery went well. I also have had very little pain, even in those first few days. 1 week out, 17 pounds lost. I started the 5-soft foods diet Wednesday evening. Make that 4-soft foods. Apparently cottage cheese still makes me want to hurl, lol. Had a rough time yesterday. Think I over-filled my pouch. I measured out 1 oz of Egg Beaters and cooked it. It looked like it might be a little too much, but I thought "I measured it". It took an hour to eat it and an hour or so later I just felt ill--and did for much of the day. I decided it should be 1 oz cooked and it's been ok since. They sent me home on oxygen, which is a real pain. Amanda said she'd call for a O2 test and discontinue order, but I haven't heard from the oxygen company yet...will probably call them today. Other than that things are going well. How are you doing? You should be close to starting your next soft food stage, right? I'm so looking forward to that!

I suppose you are in surgery today! I am praying for you. Everything has gone amazingly well for me! No Pain except minor soreness since Thursday. I am looking forward to pureed foos jello broth and protien drinks...not so much! I am pulling for you!

Hi Susan. I meant to reply before you were to go in for surgery, but my computer wasn't letting me access the site over the weekend for some reason--then I got busy trying to get everything in order I just forgot. I thought of you yesterday though and hope your surgery went well...I'm sure it did. I'm anxious to know how it all went once you get home. My day is coming--quick! Pre-op tomorrow, liquid diet starts Saturday!
