You must not have seen my post....I messed up bad this weekend. I smoked I drank I ate horrible.....I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. I took it hard and gained back 10lbs....good thing is that I have accepted it and got back on track and dropped those 10lbs in the last few days. I'm not really looking forward to treatment cause it is similar to chemo .... hair loss and all. Bonus is that it will help with the weight loss. =) I can get through this though! I'm eating healthy and I feel great and I'm not gonna let this get me down!

Thank you so much! I had such a great weekend. Took the kids swimming both Sat and Sunday (making sure to make it a workout lol). I got on the scale and this morning I am 237! OMG 18lbs so far this month. I am on cloud 9! Yay!

Thanks! Day 5 of liquids and it isn't even half as bad as I thought. I got the whole family on board with healthy eating. We cleaned out the cabinets together and they are now eating much much healthier. 15lbs so far this month. I have never been so encouraged or motivated in my whole life. For the first time in my life I believe I will lose the weight and keep it off. Thank you soooo much for your encouranging words and your support! I'm excited to have my pre and post pics up! I'm shooting for next summer! =)

Can't help who you love! I'm sorry you don't get the family support in your relationship but it's not your problem it's your dad's. It's your life and you are the one who is in control of making you happy. Hope things eventually work out with you and your dad.

How often do u see your surgeon now? EVery year? Maybe you should go to a nutritionist and ask them why youre not losing much or if theyre ssomehting your doing wrong. EVen though honestly, alot of people I know a yeah after surgery and they say its harder for them to loose any more weight. Im not sure why- that doesnt make any sense at all our bodies no matter what should be able to loose weight esp when your working out and eatting properly and smaller portions.

lol! I know exactly what you mean. Ive lost 35 pounds so far and I wish I can eat but when i look in the mirror im like.. who needs food anyway? lol.. I seen my surgeon yesturday and she didnt like that I havent been able to eat or drink much through out this first month. I had an obstruction when i came out of surgery and she thinks i may have some stricture so shes senging me to another Dr to see how big my pouch is now. And if its too small they are going to blow it up 1 centimeter, which im not too crazy about because the purpose of this surgery is so i can eat smaller portions but because of the pain they may ahve to blow it up some. I went through all this i dont want to have it blown up. But we shall see hopefully its just a post-op faze and will fade.

Wow thats so great! lol It seems impossible that i'll ever be able to eat "normal" things again ever lol. I have to keep reminding myself that im only 1 month post-op and that maybe this is how everyone feels at this stage. You know before i had this surgery I was never a big eatter or a fan of junk food. I barely ate which is hard to believe and now i cant take my mind off of the things i wish i could eat but cant lol. Sometimes I even get sick at the thought of the things i want that my stomach wont tolerate.
But i guess thats the whole purpose of this surgery to begin with.
The only thing that takes my mind off that is wanting to work off as much weight as i can and get in shape! And then before you know it I'll be 16 months and feeling great -like you!
