my recovery was going perfectly and i was lucky. i am getting kicked in the butt now. the fluid on my left lung is giving me such bad chest, back,and shoulder pain that it brings me to tears. i am also unable to sleep or eat much b/c i am so discouraged. plus i cant work out. man i need this to go away asap!!

I am working on an important presentation in my office and keep snacking at my desk then I go home to family and we are italian so everything revolves around food. i am 2 days into the liquid diet and i am failing!! tomorrow is a new day i guess. i have to destress and stop spending time with my family for the next two weeks or i am going to fail at this.

I am sitting in my bed with my lap top as we speak eating some mint chocolate chip ice cream. Tomorrow is the first day of my liquid diet and exactly 2 weeks uptil my surgery. Time is flying, I cant wait to be 6 months post op and celebrating my 25th birthday at a somewhat healthy weight for the first time since i was about 10!! Does anyone have any secrets to surviving the liquid diet?
