So I have been under 200 lbs for about 2-3 weeks now. I never thought Id be under 200 again in my life and it feels amazing. I have lost about 100 lbs in the last year, divided evenly between pre and post op. The amount of energy I have has amazed me, I feel like I am in high school again. Here are some things that have changed drastically for me, not the most atonishing things in the world, but when you lose a whole person, its the best!:

i am going to be under 200 lbs in the very near future, probably 2 days!! this will be the first time i am under 200 since freshman year of college, thats almost 7 years ago.

2 months and 2 surgeries later and i feel like life is back to normal. i got through holloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and new years without any junk food whatsoever. i dont even miss it. i am going on a cruise in aug and may actually look decent in a bathing suite for the first time in about 13 years. i have lost over 40 lbs and people are telling me all day how great i look. its a little weird and embarrassing, ive never been complemented like this before. could be worse though right?...

i was in the hospital for the past 2 weeks because i had a collection of blood on my diaphram because my surgical drain backed up. it was the worst pain in the world and i am still recovering. i dont wish this upon anyone. i had to have surgery to remove the clot, it was like i was back at square one. i feel a little better now but its still painfull to eat and my only working out is walking.

my recovery was going perfectly and i was lucky. i am getting kicked in the butt now. the fluid on my left lung is giving me such bad chest, back,and shoulder pain that it brings me to tears. i am also unable to sleep or eat much b/c i am so discouraged. plus i cant work out. man i need this to go away asap!!
