Hi, I saw that you had your lapband removed and got a MGB which is working better for you. I was curious how that is working better than the lapband? What is the difference with eating? I am not doing too well on my lapband and was just curious what the differences were when it came to eating.

Yes we should have a San Antonio get together before we move...we are moving to Alaska in December...hubby is in the Air Force. I'd be all for a San Antonio get together! Hope you have a great weekend!

So you will be up by Truckee? They were below freezing I think, overnight. I used to live on the west side of Reno but now I am in Yerington, which is about 77 miles SE of Reno. I go to Reno several times a month and moved away last Fall and now I am regreting it. I lived in Vegas for a couple of yrs in the late 80's, when my now ex-husband was stationed there in the Air Force. My daughter just moved down to there and is living with my aunt until she finds a place to live. I just couldn't live there today. It is nuts! I am not sure I could deal with the heat again either. I have a friend who just moved from Boulder City to Pahrump and I would like to see Pahrump. I am thinking of going in Dec. When we left Vegas we moved to Laverne, OK. I used to be the newspaper reporter in a nearby town called Buffalo. These towns are in the county just outside of the panhandle. I lived there and just across the state line into Kansas for 17 yrs. The only thing that I don't miss is the wind!

Hiya Randy! I hope all is going well with you. We had a cold front pass thru overnight and it was down into the 40's here this morn. Supposed to be only 69 here today but back into the 90's starting on Wed. I'm just watching the hurricane on the TV. I haven't checked out your weather, but I take it that you are too far NW to catch any of the rain bands. Well, take care and be safe
