Here you go, as promised. Graphical event tickers - pregnancy, wedding, birthday - for your signatures, message boards, blogs and web page. I was going to post it where you wrote me, but I don't remember where that was.

    Hi Sherry,
Hope you are recovering nicely. I read your post after coming home from the hospital and felt so bad for you being left in the hallway for 3-4 hours. How awful! But yeah for the lady in the business suit! God Bless her! Glad you are home and have your family taking care of you. Karen

hi sherry! well tomorrow's the big day for ya! i'll be thinkin bout ya and hope everything goes good. i was readin where ya'd written bout your pre-op liquid diet. i had my last dietitian appointment on friday of last wk. and received my big pre-op liquid diet also. i'm waitin now on insurance and hopefully i'll hear somethin within the next two wks. but anyways, i will get to have only protein drinks for 8 days prior to my surgery and worse than that they're gonna have to be mixed wt. soy milk which i've never even tried. my dietitian said since i'm lactose intolerant that i should start on soy milk and i guess this will be my drink for the rest of my life. i'm not much of a milk drinker to begin wt. and now i'm gonna have to learn how to like soy. oh well that's just one of those things i'm sure i'll get use to like all the other new things i've gotten use to. i wonder if ya feel like me sherry. i've made so many changes like stoppin smokin, no caffeine, no diet dr. peppers, no snacks, and reg. 3 meal plate diet, that it makes me feel so strong cause i've made so many changes. i feel like i can do anything now, so really i'm just tryin not to think much bout the liquid diet yet. sorry yours was so rough, and i'm sure i 'll be starvin here pretty soon too! lol!!! i will get 6 protein drinks a day for 8 days. wonder why everyones differ so much? that is strange. anyways sherry i just wanted to drop in and wish ya well tomorrow wt. your surgery. you'll do great i know. i'll be thinkin bout ya. take care and keep me posted. bye for now and ttys~tammy!!!

I have been in your shoes! TRUST ME! I had to do 2 weeks, and it was horrible. I was able to have milk though. No soups, just broth. I lost 24 pounds on the liquids! That was the good part. I do remember after like day 5, it did not bother me. My PCP had told me, ones body just gets used to it. I guess no because the first few days were the worst. It was a hard thing to do, but I did it because I wanted my surgery to go smoothly with NO complications. You will do this, and you are in for the ride of your life!!!!
