    Oh, Sherry,
I quite understand - have been there and done that BUT... as you write, hopefully upping the iron intake will help.
Having had the same scenario upon my return from a new job, I changed my homecoming timetable a bit so as to "get a life" and not get dragged down. I had arranged everything for my own self so that when I came home, I was greeted by either a plate of a cold meal prepared waiting in the fridge, or, if you have a microwave (in the "early days" of 25 years ago I didn't!), all ready on a plate to stick into the microwave. In the morning, before going to work, I had laid the table in readiness for my homecoming. (I had had my main meal of the day at lunchtime.) I had one basket of laundry ready to put on upon my return and took the wet one from the morning out for the dryer. Then I prepared my packed lunch for the next day and evening meal for the fridge. Had a shower, got into my nightwear, then had my prepared supper, cleared it away, laid the breakfast things out... I was then free to read, make phone calls, polish shoes, mend buttons or watch tv and "crash". I operated the same way when I had a family.
I'm sure you have your own methods and will improve soon! So, how are you enjoying your job? Do you have any "homework" to do to keep up with it? (I write tons of lists, profiles on colleagues etc to help set up a Who's Who - comes in handy a few months down the line!).
Fingers crossed, wishing you a truck full of energy and happy days!
    Cheers,
    Vim

Hi Vim. I haven't been on TT very much since I went back to work on July 1. I am SO tired...it seems like I get home from work, lay down on the couch to nap, and then get up and go to bed again. My iron levels are pretty low...working on getting that built back up. I'm sure that is probably why I'm so darned tired. Thanks for asking about me.

    Hej Sherry!
Silence is golden, but long time no see - are you OK or actually plain sailing with your wl?
    Cheers,
    Vim

Thank you for the compliments Sherry!
I haven't written for a while nor can I find the time for the next couple of months as I am totally renovating my home and every breathing moment is taken with rewiring, replastering, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, tiles, carpets, paint colours, etc, etc! Great fun though! I'm too busy to turn to food for comfort! Snacking is a risk but hopefully pretty much under control!
    Cheers May Flower!

Hi Vim, thanks for the visitor message. I love reading your posts, they are always so cheerful, positive, and uplifting. I've decided that I am rather glad I ended up with a May surgery date. You know the old saying, "April showers bring May flowers". I am going to be a "May flower". :-)

    Hello Sherry!
Great, now we are TTFriends! May is a brilliant month to have surgery! Better weather on the way and sunny skies just add to the euphoria surrounding the operation!
    Best wishes,
    Vim
