I found that with any problems I rang in to (which were pretty minimal) I just went and saw my GP about or went straight to the hospital. We have the joy of the NHS to look after us even though we have gone overseas for the operations so it's really not too much of a worry.

i go to brugge on the 7th may and my op is the 9th. just a little question to ask you, on the forum when people are having problems and they are advised to see there surgeon, what happens if we have any problems? this is one of my concerns with going all the way to brugge to have it done there, its not like we can just nip on the bus to go and see him.

hi shereek i think you already replyed to one of my first threads, i was debating wheather to have the surgery in this country or go to brugge, it was yourself and gwen both saying how wonderful dr D was that made my mind up, i had already had the lap band surgery but had to have it removed last year because of complication, i dont know wheather you remember reading my introuduction thread, if not then i would like to say hi and to tell you how fantastic you have done on your weight loss.
