I feel the same way aboutr the weight loss. It seems slow to me too. I keep wondering if I am doing something wrong. But I too am happy to be losing, I really can't complain.

I really like the bariatric advantage vitamins...except for the iron..I can't wait to be rid of those...

Last week that was me for the weight loss. I didnt loose anything. Tomorrow I will be one month out and i have lost about twenty pounds. It seems a lot slower than most people loose in their first month but I am ok with it. Its better than nothing!

I am taking the celebrate vitamins, the orange multivits are too sour and the calcuims just dont settle well. I like my iron, its grape and has a bit of an aftertaste but not too bad!

    Hey !!!

So how have you been doing, My scale is finally moving! But on a negative note I am having trouble getting my chewable vitamins to go down and my protein sucks. I try to drink it but it just makes me so sick. I cant wait until i can start taking regular vitamins itll be so much easier on me!

hope all is well with you! talk to you soon!

I am having the same problem. I gagged down a chocolate BA shake with a little banana this morning....It did stay down, but I didn't really enjoy it. I have to have at least one a day I figure. Our stalls will come to an end....I hope real soon for both of us.

    Hey girly,

I was just reading your post about the three week stall, I am at two weeks and I havent lost anything in a couple of days. I have no idea if its my fault or if I can blame it on a stall... but it is strange. I think I need to up my protien intake for sure!

    Hi there Laurie
I hope you're having a blast during Hell Month right now! Kidding aside, be well and take good care of yourself right now. You're in the kindergarten class at the School of WLS, so have fun learning the exciting new things that you're in the midst of!

Hi Laurie! My support group leader is Patricia Patton. I know that she runs another support group, but I'm not sure where that one is. She runs a good group...I enjoy going. Definitely come to ours anytime! She brings in some interesting people for presentations...we've had a nutritionist, Dr. Wilcox, a Bariatric Advantage supplement representative, plastic surgeon, etc. The speaker at the next meeting is going to be from Dress for Success...basically giving wardrobe/clothing tips for our shrinking selves.

The meeting are the 1st Monday of each month, at 6:30. The next one is August 3rd. They are held at the Fayette Home Care & Hospice Building, which is right off the Connellsville St exit of Route 119.

I'm crappy with giving directions, but Pat could do a better job at that. I'm going to send you her email address & phone number in a private message. (I don't want to post it here for the whole world to see, lol.) Just tell her that Sherry passed along the info.
